Anti-feminist comments are hate speech?
Feminist talk is FULL of hate-speech -- with men being "the enemy" etc.
In America we have the blessings of free speech, fully protected by the First Amendment of our Constitution. The roots of this special right do not trace back to England, but to the Christian ministers who evangelized the colonies, creating the Great Awakening. To this day England and the rest of Europe do not protect a constitutional right of free speech. Some remarks in Western Europe can cause the speaker to be imprisoned.
Feminists in Europe have exploited this lack of a right to free speech in order to criminalize statements that they call “sexist”, an indefinable term which means any comment feminists do not like. By criminalizing sexist speech, governments in Europe will scare people away from many remarks and comments that are entirely appropriate. As long as government and feminists can define what is “sexist”, much valuable speech will be censored.
England, 18 other nations including Germany and France signed an absurd United Nations treaty about Women that requires them to pass new laws making sexist comments a crime and outlawing “psychological violence,” which they define broadly to include statements “seriously impairing a person’s psychological integrity through coercion or threats.” This is sold to the public as part of a phony campaign against domestic violence, and politicians are apparently still too afraid to stand up to the feminists even to stop such obviously bad laws.

The legal classification of so called "hate speech" is really a travesty that is doing nothing less than providing evil people who have evil agendas the legal ability to worm their way into our society, ultimately oppressing the norm. We need to stop legislating morality, and encouraging parents to step up and model and teach responsibility and accountability. Fail at that, and we are lost.
Stand above the rest by standing as a man of integrity.
According to liberals its only hate speech when its spoken by conservatives
Wow: in colonial days, all opinions in America, whether religious or political, came directly or indirectly from Britain and Europe (the reference to "England" is technically meaningless except in ref to the Church of England").
Christian denominiations in America were then infamous for NOT promoting free-speech. That ideal came from the "European Enlightenment" that was generally against the power of the established Christian churches, whether in "England", or other European countries or their colonies.
I thought a big part of feminism was that men and women are equal and must be treated the same. Now I am reading that women are gentle flowers who melt if an untoward word is directed at them. So which is it: I am woman, hear me roar or I am a dainty mouse who is terrified at every sound?
So-called hate-crime laws actually violate the Constitutions Equal Protection clause. How is it that we all have the right to equal protection under the law, yet some are more equal than others?
These hate-crime laws may be some of the biggest politically motivated scams ever perpetrated against the American people. Then again, with a population of some of the weakest, most gullible, and dumbest people on the planet, what does it matter.
Why is assaulting a queer a more serious crime than assaulting anyone else?
Also, suppose you assaulted a queer with love in your heart. Is that still a hate crime?
4:59 - try to be serious! You might think differently if you were attacked just because you appeared to belong to some grouping that another group didn't like. If that was ever genuinely the case, you could also make a good case with the police, and/or make some lawyer even wealthier.
As someone once said THE MORE OTHER OFFER TO HELP THE MORE ONE SHOULD COUNT THE SILVERWARE
@Anon 5:14 AM, like most Liberals, you illustrate that you completely misunderstand the concept of "equality". Freedom of speech, and the other freedoms and liberties that the United States Constitution affords its citizens are for EVERYONE, not just those who feel it applies to them. Calling a crime a so called "hate crime" is nothing more than Political Correctness rearing its ugly head. Yes, there are groups that may tend to be targeted more than other groups. But providing special protection undermines the guarantees of the Constitution.
@Anon 3:12 AM, you admit that some citizens are more exposed to attack than others simply because of the group they appear to belong to, yet you think "equality" means they must endure more threats than other citizens. You have a weird idea of "equality" and what the law should do (or not do) to inhibit specific types of intimidation.
NB. not everyone who disagrees with you is a "Liberal" by defintion!
