Another emptyheaded Anglican cleric
"Very Reverend" indeed! He's probably never even heard of salvation or read Romans chapter 1. His gospel is secular: It's "hatred and bigotry" to preach Bible teachings about homosexuality
From Wikipedia: "The Potter's House is a Pentecostal bible-based fellowship of 1,744 churches in 112 nations throughout the world with 61 ministering evangelists"
TERRITORIANS were more likely to find the gospel at work at Throb nightclub than Potter's House Church, a senior religious figure has said.
The Very Reverend Jeremy Greaves from Darwin's Christ Church Cathedral yesterday slammed Potter's House after the NT News revealed it had been using a Halloween show as a ruse to preach its anti-gay, anti-abortion message.
"It is no wonder the church has become irrelevant to so many when the loudest voice in Christianity is one of hatred and bigotry," Rev Greaves wrote in a letter to the NT News.
"The Gospel is more in evidence at Throb on a Saturday night with their clear message of welcome and acceptance than it is in those churches that continue to peddle such a narrow understanding of the faith."

ALL clerics are emptyheaded. And those who are not, are pedophiles.
Whats the diffrence betweena cleric and a preist?
The Anglican Church long ago abandoned inconvenient teachings like "sin" and "Hell" in favor of more mainstream things such as "tolerance."
The Christian church is imploding like the computer/robot that was given contradictory directives.
Well obviously we misunderstood Jesus. He really said, "Greater love has no man than this, that a man sticks portions of his anatomy into his friend for his own pleasure."
Geez, how could we have been so blind!

It's fascinating to watch those who claim to be speaking for God directly contradict what God's Word clearly says.
We've all heard Christians claim this verse:
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
— Jeremiah 29:11
This was a promise given to those in the nation of Israel who obeyed God's command to go along with their captors and work for their captor's good when God sent them into exile as a result of the nation's overall disobedience. (Christians abuse this verse because this promise was not given to us.) Daniel was one of those captives who obeyed God.
But there were also false prophets who claimed God was not going to punish Israel, that it was all going to be fine, and that they should fight to stay in Israel's territory. In other words, they directly contradicted what God had to say. Here's what God promised to that group:
thus says the LORD concerning the king who sits on the throne of David, and concerning all the people who dwell in this city, your kinsmen who did not go out with you into exile: ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, behold, I am sending on them sword, famine, and pestilence, and I will make them like vile figs that are so rotten they cannot be eaten. I will pursue them with sword, famine, and pestilence, and will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, a terror, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them, because they did not pay attention to my words, declares the LORD, that I persistently sent to you by my servants the prophets, but you would not listen, declares the LORD.’ Hear the word of the LORD, all you exiles whom I sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon: ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying a lie to you in my name: Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall strike them down before your eyes. Because of them this curse shall be used by all the exiles from Judah in Babylon: “The LORD make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire,” because they have done an outrageous thing in Israel, they have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and they have spoken in my name lying words that I did not command them. I am the one who knows, and I am witness, declares the LORD.’”
— Jeremiah 29:16–23
God does not take lying in His name lightly. In fact, the harshest words Jesus spoke were directed at "religious" leaders who abused their position and lead others astray. (See Matthew 23:2-36.)

Yes, this is much of mainstream modern Christianity - they have no problem embracing the love and tolerance aspects, but they reject all of the 'thou shalt not' stuff.
It is a gospel that is entirely empty of any real meaning.
They are like the child that tells its parent 'if you love me you'll let me do what I want', even when the parent knows that what the child wants isn't good for it.
Scantly clad young ladies is inappropriate
Christians can't agree among themselves, so why should anyone take them seriously.
Even the Pope has just brought out a book debunking silly myths and traditions naive Christians believe in.
