Hate speech to say that the media encourage homosexuality?

The Left are keen to blame Christians and conservatives when homosexuals die but it is hate speech if you fire the arrow back at them.

What the pastor actually said seems fairly balanced to me: Suicide is an individual decision but the suicidal person may have ended up in that position because constant media glorification of homosexuality led him to adopt that lifestyle
Bill Keller, the controversial St. Petersburg, Florida based ‘Live Prayer’ host, has stirred controversy and claims of hate speech after releasing a statement in which he blamed CNN host Anderson Cooper, MNSBC commentator Rachel Maddow, and comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres for Tyler Clementi’s suicide.

Tyler Clementi is the 18-year-old Rutgers University student who leaped to his death on September 22, 2010 after learning his roommate, Dharun Ravi, streamed a sexual encounter he had with another male online.

Bill Keller stated, “Sadly we deal with the loved ones of those who commit suicide every day. Suicide is a desperate and selfish act that is ultimately the sole responsibility of the person who made the choice to end their life. Everyone who commits suicide has reasons that led them to make such a horrible decision. The fact is, suicide is exponentially higher amongst those who choose the homosexual lifestyle, and while those in the media want to blame people like myself who take a Biblical stand on this issue, the fact is, they are the ones most responsible!"

Bill Keller’s release begins by pointing blame at those in the media who have publicly come out as gay or lesbian. The announcement states, “Bill Keller, the world's leading Internet Evangelist and the founder of LivePrayer.com, with over 2.4 million subscribers worldwide reading the daily devotional he has written every morning for 12 years on the issues of the day from a Biblical worldview, says Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, Ellen DeGeneres, the media, and gutless pastors are guilty for the death of Rutgers student Tyler Clementi, not Dharun Ravi!”

Bill Keller then went on to attack the theory that people are born gay.

Bill Keller continued to state in his release, “It is the homosexual community and media who promote this lifestyle to society, forcing it to validate legally and ethically this choice of sexual behavior and relationships to our children as normal, even desirable behavior!

Bill Keller proudly announced that his ministry has led thousands to turn away from homosexuality. “Over the past 20 years, Liveprayer has helped thousands of men and women make the choice to turn from the sin of homosexuality.”

JJR's comment fits perfectly with his homophobic bigoted world view.

While Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, and Ellen DeGeneres, (and Oprah Winfrey) are all gay, Cooper has not "come out". Perhaps he thinks no one has noticed? Or, maybe he's worried that his already low-rated show will really hit the skids.

Gays are simply living by that old and well-tested Left-wing motto, "do as we say, not as we do..." Their radical activism and intolerance have not made them any friends or supporters,

The Pastor typically takes no responsibility for the consequences of his anti-gay crusade, and even tries to blame the victim or the media or anyone else except himself and his bigotry. What is the psychological motivation for this obsession with homosexuality amongst so many christian groups/churches and moslems too? Well I know they find some warped justification in the ancient Hebrew tribal culture, yet they ignore other things about that, such as rules on adultery and working on the Sabbath, etc. Draw you own conclusions if you have any kind of logical or objective thought-processes!

Sorry, you won't find that here.

Bill Keller, Rick Santorum, Anita Bryant, the churches, and malicious pastors are guilty for the death of Rutgers student Tyler Clementi, not Dharun Ravi!

Sadly we deal with religious zealots every day. Faith is a desperate and delusional act that is ultimately the sole responsibility of the person who made the choice to deny logic. Everyone who succumbs to magical thinking has reasons that led them to make such a horrible decision. The fact is, bigotry and racism are exponentially higher amongst those who choose the evangelical lifestyle. While those in the pulpit want to blame people that endorse personal freedom, it is in fact those who take a Biblical stand on this issue are the ones most responsible

It is the religious community and fundamentalist zealots who promote this delusion to society, forcing it to validate legally and ethically this choice of irrational behavior and magical thinking to our children as normal, even desirable behavior!

"What is the psychological motivation for this obsession with homosexuality"

Could it be what the Bible says? Is that too hard to understand?

Once again, we see people labeled as homophobic and bigoted simply because they disagree with the radical views of gay activists and their supporters on the far-left. While gays demand unlimited and total tolerance from others, they show absolutely none for anyone else.

JJR ranted, "Could it be what the Bible says? "

You mean that book that contains all those mythological stories?

Dr. No spewed forth, " they show absolutely none (tolerance) for anyone else."

Talk about calling the kettle black.

Yep, just who do gays show no tolerance for exactly? You mean people who show no tolerance for them? Duh!
