The Media Research Center's letter to Chairman of MSNBC’s Parent Company. It's basically a response to all the Leftist calls for Rush to be fired. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
Dear Mr. Roberts,
As the chairman of Comcast, you have a responsibility to your shareholders and the public to produce programs which follow a basic standard of civility.
Unfortunately, MSNBC anchor Ed Schultz regularly doles out hate-filled, venomous rhetoric which has reached a boiling point. MSNBC should not give Mr. Schultz a platform to spew such hate.
Therefore, I am calling on you as the Chairman of MSNBC’s parent company, Comcast, to demand Ed Schultz’s termination.
As I am sure you know, in recent weeks there has been an uproar over an inappropriate comment Rush Limbaugh made about Georgetown University Law Student Sandra Fluke. Rush apologized profusely for his unfortunate mistake, but that has hardly appeased the talking heads at MSNBC who continue to attack Rush. One of the most notable among them is Ed Schultz.
These attacks are enormously hypocritical given his history of vile rhetoric directed at conservatives and women. In fact, there’s nothing Limbaugh has said throughout his entire career that begins to approximate the vitriol that has come from Schultz. And this network, using him as the talking head, is condemning Limbaugh? It is hypocrisy and journalistic dishonesty of the highest order.

It's a commercial decision. MSNBC is low-rating so it is possible that Schultz helps keep it low. He is certainly obnoxious.

The few viewers msnbc has are getting exactly what they want from leftist cretins like Schultz and all the rest. That's why the parent company won't do anything to him.
As for Rush, i think he was a fool and a coward for issuing an apology. He should have waited for Bill Maher to issue a few hundred apologies first.
To Rush From A Fan: If you don't have the balls to stand up for what you say, then keep your mouth shut!
Schultz is just another leftists little slugeworm working for a leftists news agency
I think they need to keep him around to demonstrate in a public forum how vile leftists really are.
Oprah's OWN network also seems to be failing.
The American marketplace has little appetite for leftist media.
A face to throw pies at
And, if msnbc decides to disinfect their house, which they won't, they should also get rid of their inhouse progressive RINO and major Obummer supporter, Joe (the phony) Scarborough.
Don't like Shultz? Don't watch him.
Don't like Rush? Don't listen to him.
Don't like Maher? Don't watch him.
Don't like O'Reilly? Don't watch him.
Get the point?
