Bigotry at a Jesuit university

You might expect St Louis university to be bigoted in favor of Catholicism. But you would not know much about present-day Catholic universities if you did. The loyalty to the Pope and the zeal for the purity of Roman doctrine that was once central to the Society of Jesus is long gone. Their founder would see the so-called Jesuits of today as the Apostles of the Devil. These days, their bigotry is in favor of Islam and against any critical examination of it. St. Ignatius of Loyola would be astounded by them.
"Does a double-standard exist at Saint Louis University? Recent events at the Jesuit university might cause you to believe one does.

This weekend, SLU’s Muslim Students’ Association hosted a three-day conference, “Saving Our Deen: Living a Muslim life in a not-so Muslim world,” at the school’s Busch Student Center. Part of the conference agenda — which included speakers from Chicago, Dallas, Maryland and Canada — was a 45-minute presentation entitled, “Recognizing Our Enemies,” by Shaykh Khalid Abdul Sattar of Maryland.

Three months ago, SLU officials blocked David Horowitz from coming to their campus to deliver a speech entitled, “An Evening with David Horowitz: Islamo-Fascism Awareness and Civil Rights.” They cited fears that his subject matter might include an attack on the Muslim faith.

Is there a difference between the two? Without attending each presentation, I cannot say, so I decided to look deeper into the people and organizations behind each presentation.

In researching the background of the MSA, I learned that, according to this article, documents seized by the FBI and entered as evidence in a Texas court revealed that MSA is a legacy project of the Muslim Brotherhood. In another article, this one by Douglas Farah, I learned the Muslim Brotherhood’s agenda includes “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.” Violence.

In researching Horowitz’s background, I found the organization that bears his name (David Horowitz Freedom Center) was established to institutionalize his campaigns against the Left and its anti-Americanism and that DHFC’s mission is to defend the principles of individual freedom, the rule of law, private property, and limited government. Non-violence.

"Is there a difference between the two?"

Of course there is! A program coming from a Muslim that is in any way negative to others is Politically Correct while a program coming from a non-Muslim that is in any way negative to others is Politically incorrect. And it that non-Muslim happens to speak negatively of Islam, then it's hate speech.

Welcome to 2010.

We in America, the Nation of Fools, have a long history of showing "compassion" to those who would destroy us. Indeed, in many cases, as in this one, we often treat them better than our own, and certainly better than they treat us. This is a direct result of liberal thinking controlling the process. And though it always ends in failure, (ours) we continue to do the same thing over and over again.

Are we all, like liberals, so full of guilt and self-loathing that we would court our own destruction in the name of some seriously misguided compassion?

What i wouldn't give to have a history book from say, the year 2500. I would love to know just how many 9/11-type events it took to make the American peeople actually wake up. It's quite obvious one wasn't nearly enough.

Because of their upbringing and all the lies they're fed by politicians and the media, the American people don't have the mental capacity to understand, or the emotional strength to deal with the fact that we are involved in a religious war with radical Islam. It is a concept neither the people nor the politically-controlled military were prepared for, which is why we will (not) win this war with Al Qaeda.

So long as the current strategy of allowing corrupt and incompetent politicians in DC to run the war, we have no chance of winning.

Only liberal idealism would allow this to happen. You know, tolerance, blah, blah, blah.

What is it going to take for people to wake up, smell the coffee and realize that Muslims are doing everything they can to destroy us from within?

I work in corrections. I see Muslims recruiting and trying to radicalize people all the time. I'm powerless to stop it.

I truly fear for my kids when they grow up. What will they face?

Does anyone know where I can find a roll of toilet paper with the koran printed on it? I suppose I could make my own if it isn't offered to buy online. Also looking to take the actual book down to the shooting range and blow a few holes in it, throw it away after, with a few rotten hot dogs.
