The internet does NOT need regulating

The House Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology voted 15-to-8 along party lines Wednesday to overturn the FCC's new 'network neutrality' regulations."

According to the Marxist-in-Chief and his anti-American administration, "everything" requires government regulation. Can you think of a better way to gain complete control over the everyday lives of the people? If you can, they'd love to hear from you.

The original article mentions that the FCC's regulation would "prohibit broadband providers from favoring or discriminating against Internet content and services." Wouldn't this regulation, based on this reading, in effect actually prevent providers from doing something like blocking web sites and newsgroups that provide child pornography? I mean, they would be "discriminating" against that "Internet content," wouldn't they? Or is an exception for something like this built into the regulations?
Person: IIRC there were a couple exceptions in the regulations. Verizon and Google(? I think) would have been able to provide different levels of access to given websites depending on the level of dollars given them.
At least, that's what I recall of the article from a while back.
