The realities of slavery must not be depicted



An incredibly offensive line of home furnishing products and prints depicting British slave ships and black slaves has been produced by Bridgeman Images, Granger Art on Demand*, Daniel Hagerman, Johan Moritz Rugendas and Fineartamerica.com. These are currently on sale with fineartamerica.com and other woefully ignorant retailers.

Not only are these images in incredibly poor taste, they defecate on the incredibly painful history, genocide and holocaust of black people worldwide and via their line of soft furnishings (throw, pillows etc.) infer that this is a point in history worth being proud of.
