Cross not Even Safe in a Chapel

And the new Chancellor is not one to overturn that:

"Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor is the new chancellor of the College of William & Mary, which has taken the unusual step of removing a cross from its chapel in an effort to ensure the area is seen as a "non-denominational area."

"In order to make the Wren Chapel less of a faith-specific space, and to make it more welcoming to students, faculty, staff and visitors of all faiths, the cross has been removed from the altar area," administrator Melissa Engimann announced in an email to the staff of the Williamsburg, Va., institution.

Thanks for sharing this link, but unfortunately it seems to be offline... Does anybody have a mirror or another source? Please reply to my post if you do!

I would appreciate if a staff member here at snorphty.blogspot.com could post it.

Thanks,
Mark

Have you considered the fact that this might work another way? I am wondering if anyone else has come across something
exactly the same in the past? Let me know your thoughts...

Greetings,

This is a question for the webmaster/admin here at snorphty.blogspot.com.

Can I use part of the information from this blog post above if I give a backlink back to this site?

Thanks,
James
