From Arizona we read of a naughty advertisement:
"Specifically, it's a teddy bear with a hidden sound device that when activated by a remote control mimics the noise of flatulence.
The product uses in its name a colloquial term for passing gas, a word that rhymes with "parting." That name was featured in the headline of the ad for the bear and appeared in last Sunday's Arizona Republic.
"I was furious when I saw this," wrote Judy Gordon, who happens to be the mother of Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon. "My parents never said that word to me growing up in Chicago and believe me, my children growing up here in Phoenix, including the mayor, never heard it from their mother and dad."
