Feminists squash Pam Anderson advertisement
We read:
"A commercial featuring Pamela Anderson in a gold bikini rubbing against another scantily clad woman while being sprayed with a white liquid has "crossed the line" in bad taste and been banned from Australian television.
But the company responsible for the ad, Crazy Domains, a business that registers internet domain names, is fighting the decision. A spokesman for the Perth company said the ad was no worse than some music video clips.
The Advertising Standards Bureau upheld a complaint about the ad, after receiving more than 40 submissions, stating it went too far in objectifying women. "It's meant to be a cheeky, over-the-top depiction but in the bureau's view it did cross the line," bureau chief executive Fiona Jolly said.
The 30-second ad, aired on free-to-air and pay television, prompted scathing remarks from viewers.
They included: "It is all about sex, got nothing to with domains, unless it's to start a porn site", and "This is overtly sexist and exploitative. It belittles women in the workforce and portrays them as sexual property".

Translation: We are ugly hags and resent beautiful sexy women.
Sex sells! I don't see anything wrong with the video, except that it will make a lot of fat women feel worse about themselves, as they should.
BTW, the brunette is 10x hotter than Pam!
Bout the only obscene thing in this video is Adam's hair.
Looks like he combed it with an egg-beater!
If the company truly had a good product, why do they need to resort to using sex to sell it? Or is their product simply not that good?
Caveat emptor.

---They do it for attention, people e-mail ads with sex, they don't fast forward when they're watching TV with a DVR, they might even rewind and look at them twice. For example, I use godaddy for my websites, how did I learned about them? By seeing one of their sex ads on the Superbowl.

And that's my point. It sounds like you chose GoDaddy not because of its quality, reliability, and cost, but because you liked the tits. Pathetic.
They are simply pandering to human nature.
And bobby, you have a right to like fat women, as most black men do. I just wonder if you ever have to tell her to pee, so you'll get a hint as to where "it" is.

---Well, at first I did, but I have stayed with godaddy because of their quality, reliability and low prices. I also figured that a company that can afford to advertise on the Super Bowl must be doing something right. Besides, not all purchases are based on research and comparison. Like yesterday I bought Wendy's new blue cheese burger after seeing a poster outside the restaurant advertising it. Should I have reseached that as well?

---Actually, I don't like fat women, I prefer them skinny like Marcy and Kelly from Married with Children. I just sympathize with fat women because of the way they get treated. After all, Rosie O'Donnel and Rachael Maddow are physically different, but politically they're both leftwing bitches, so why ridicule one for being fat? I don't like it when the left does it to Rush Limbaugh so I won't do it to Michael Moore. When attacking progressives I will attack their political ideology which is a lot more important than how many pounds they weight.

Get used to it, the women (and the men) get fatter and fatter in the US and for the same reasons europe copies. Look forward to the health bills and a further economic downturn based on that.

---That's a myth, being fat doesn't necessarily mean "unhealthy." You can be thin and have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a likelihood to suffer from sports injuries. etc. etc. etc. A friend of mine is a bodybuilder, he looks like the picture of health yet he's stuck visiting a chiropractor twice a week. I had another friend who's thin and only eats organic food, and guess what? The bastard gets sick all the time.
There's even a study that proves that it's better to be an active fat person than an inactive thin person.

Besides, being fit takes a lot of time and money. I know because I went from 265 to 200 and spent over $10,000 in personal trainers. And I'm lucky, the people who are eating 5 times a day (as personal trainers recommend) are spending even more money! Not to mention the ones taking supplements, pills, and all the stuff the $65 BILLION dollar weight loss industry sells.
As for fat people not being productive, you think it's productive to take an hour and a half lunch break because you see your personal trainer at 12pm? Is it productive to leave work at 6 so you can get to your personal trainer at 7? Should you tell your boss "gee, I don't want to work 12 hours today because my doctor recommends 8 hours of sleep and with my personal training session at 7am, I need to go to bed early."
Honest to goodness, I was a better employee when I was fat.
