Philly Mayor Wants Mag Punished over Race Relations Story
The aptly-named Mayor Nutter
The Philadelphia Human Relations Commission has launched an investigation at the request of the mayor after a well-known magazine published an essay that explored perspectives of white citizens on the issue of race relations.
Mayor Michael Nutter called on the commission to consider rebuking both Philadelphia Magazine and writer Bob Huber noting that “the First Amendment, like other constitutional rights, is not an unfettered right.”
Nutter’s fury was directed at a cover story titled, “Being White in Philly.” The story included conversations with mostly anonymous white residents who detailed race relations in the City of Brotherly Love.
“In a city that is largely poor and segregated, white people have become afraid to say anything at all about race,” Huber wrote on the cover of the magazine. “Here’s what’s not being said.”
But Mayor Nutter believes it should have remained unsaid.

The story is really quite tame. Obviously afraid to address the issue head on. Totally ignores the commonplace black on white crime. As to Nutter: best name yet for a worthless hack of a politician. Any bets on his winding up in a cell like Kilpatrick from Detroit.
You have to admit the Mayors name suits him NUTTER he is NUTS and i mean nutteir thena fruite cake
Interestingly, Nutter is also the guy who said this:
“You’ve damaged yourself, you’ve damaged another person, you’ve damaged your peers and, quite honestly, you’ve damaged your own race. You damaged your own race.”
“If you want…anybody else to respect you and not be afraid when they see you walking down the street, then leave the innocent people who are walking down the street minding their own damn business. Leave them alone.”
“Take those God darn hoodies down, especially in the summer. Pull your pants up and buy a belt ’cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt. Nobody.”
“If you walk into somebody’s office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won’t hire you? They don’t hire you ’cause you look like you’re crazy!”
“The Immaculate Conception of our Lord Jesus Christ took place a long time ago, and it didn’t happen here in Philadelphia. So every one of these kids has two parents who were around and participating at the time. They need to be around now.”
“Parents who neglect their children, who don’t know where they are, who don’t know what they’re doing, who don’t know who they’re hanging out with, you’re going to find yourself spending some quality time with your kids in jail.”
To fathers: “If you’re not providing the guidance, and you’re not sending any money, you’re just a sperm donor.”
I have to wonder what exactly was in that article that would make a man who said these things react as he did.
Nutter applies the liberal double standard, blacks/liberals/muslims can say anything and get a pass but anyone else cannot. It is interesting that they believe the rest of us cannot see how brainless that mindset is.

Here's something else the Brits can be "proud" of.

I read the article and thought it was pretty good. But I am European-American which means by default that I am racist.

If people play the "race card" it shows they either have an inferiority complex, or have no other valid argument to offer, or they are politically manipulating a situation with race &/or PC issues, etc., etc.
In short, it's bogus, and is hypocritically "racist" itself!
they're afraid of open discussion of race, except with themselves - see NAACP and other ignorant organizations
Could someone publish the crime rate and breakdown? Show it to Nutter.
