GOP election signs vandalized  -- again

This happens every election.  Leftists just can't handle disagreement with them.  Mostly they just block their ears but sometimes they get overtly Fascist

A Vietnam-era veteran's Mitt Romney campaign signs were seemingly torched by vandals right in his front yard in Howley-in-the-Hills, Fla.

William Overbay claims someone lit the flags and signs in his yard on fire. The items were all supportive of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney. The vandals reportedly painted a message on his driveway and grass that read "Obama 4 life."

"This is the first thing I saw was this sign painted on my driveway," Overbay told WKMG in Orlando.

Police say no clues were immediately found that could identify the offenders.

But Overbay took the politically motivated attack personally because he fought for the country and all Americans' right to free speech.

"To give that many years for my country and to see it desecrated in such a despicable way angers me. We have freedom of speech and to desecrate any kind of signs is absolutely despicable and a violation of the constitution of the United States," he said.

The veteran says he plans to replace the torched signs and flags before the upcoming election.

Much of the US is still in total denial re the foolishness of the Vietnam War and the tragic slaughter of huge numbers young men in what was a pointless war (not to mention the natives). The US GIs may have been heroes in their patriotism, but also the "cannon fodder" victims of cynical politicians.
The more recent military invasions of Iraq and Aghanistan are making more "cannon fodder" victims (not only US but other NATO countries), when it's perfectly obvious that both those countries will simply revert to even more lawlessness than there was before.
The history of Afghanistan should have been a lesson to NATO, after the humiliating failure of the USSR to control it, and the British Empire before that.
What does it say about not learning from History??!!

It says volumes about the importance of history and the failure of most people to play attention to it.

America was aciualy doing well in vietnam until media leftist propegandists WATER KRONKITE got his liberal propeganda machine going

As a matter of fact, US forces won every battle in Viet Nam. It was the communists at home, (Cronkite, Dan Rather, Fonda, and leftist Demoncrat politicians, etc.) who created the illusion that we had lost that war. And, generally speaking, the American people, being the weak, gullible, and mindless sheep that they are, bought it.

And remember something that's never mentioned, perhaps because it really pisses off leftists. It was the liberal shit-kicker LBJ who got us deep into that war, but it was Richard Nixon who got us out of it!

Our brave and dedicated warriors were blamed for what the elected lying crooks in DC had caused with their Demoncrat-created foreign policy, which attempts to turn every country into Grenwhich, Conn., complete with white picket fences and pretty little flower gardens. In fact, that's exactly what they're trying to do in Afghanistan right now. And, as usual, it will fail.

These miserble vandals deserve a rear end full on buck shot from a double barrled shot-gun

This is a shame but I'd withhold judgement for a bit - mindless vandalism knows no political boundaries. I don't doubt someone will knock over a few Obama signs before next Tuesday.

It's interesting how the media views these types of stories.

Some guy hangs an empty chair in his front yard and the media covers it as a racist attack against Obama.

These guys destroy political advertisements attacking free speech rights and it's ignored.

The media covers some guy hanging a chair in his front yard, but says nothing about the presidents failure to send aid to our embassy in Lybia. "I wasn't aware of the requests for help". Then he is either incompetent
or worse, lying. The President of the US is THE most informed person in the entire world. He has at his disposal the CIA, FBI and Military Intelligence organizations. Maybe if he spent time going to intelligence briefings instead of "The View" he would know what the hell is going on.

The morons who did this do not understand the sacrifice our veterans have made for them because their freedom has truly been free. They have never had to fight or sacrifice for it so they do not value it.

What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. - Thomas Paine

Anon 2:24 AM, the difference is that one is now considered "hate speech" and the other is not. Personally, I believe the new classification of "hate speech" is a slippery slope that we cannot afford to be walking on. People need to man-up and stop being so sensitive at the expense of personal liberty and freedom.
