We read:
"Fox Sports has rejected a Christian group’s proposed Super Bowl commercial featuring the Bible verse John 3:16.
The Lookup 316 commercial by Fixed Point Foundation was refused a spot before the nation’s largest TV viewing audience because it contained too much “religious doctrine,” according to FOX.
"[The commercial] was deemed to be too offensive," said Larry Taunton, executive director of Fixed Point Foundation, to The Christian Post.
However, the commercial does not feature any preacher, sermon or Bible. Instead it offers a question: "John 3:16, what's that mean?" The answer is simple. Look it up.

It's really just a reflection of the current state of our society. Calling a message of love "offensive" is, in and of itself, offensive.
But those who believe the Truth have no fears, but those who reject it will fear for their eternities.
A love message during a game where 22 men bash the crap out of each other for 60 minutes? Beer, guns, and nearly nekkid women are much more appropriate.
Stucco,
Even though the players are competing hard, they're rarely actually trying to hurt each other. They frequently help each other up (I'm talking opposing teams here), show concern for injured players no matter which side they're on, and almost always gather to talk after the game. Good sportsmanship is an attribute of love.
Typical of these leftists TV outlets they wont allow the bible but they will allow the koran
A Fox super bowl commercial suggestion:
How about 30-seconds of Fox News blonde babes parading around in thong bikinis.
No sound required.
That's my kind of religion.
"Good sportsmanship is an attribute of love."
LOL
Good sportsmanship is an attribute of the NFL Rule Book, which in part, protect the league from lawsuits.
Why don't you project your "attributes of love" to the military? Eh? Since we love them, we had to kill them.
Stucco - respect for rules is an attribute of love.
You know very little about love, apparently.
Don't strain yourself trying to think too deep about this - just go back to your drug induced lust filled stupor.

No wonder you stay anonymous - if your parents saw what you posted, they would put you in time-out.
So I wonder how many of the type attending such a game would actually know the text the biblical ref made, or even less how many were sufficiently interested to make a note and look it up later? (Probably only the atheists attending as they seem to know more about the Bible and Christianity than most so-called Christians!)
"But those who believe the Truth have no fears, but those who reject it will fear for their eternities."
Translates to-
"Believe what we tell you or suffer forever."
That's not love. It's emotional blackmail for weak minded sheep that need the crutch of an invisible friend to get through their life.
want a truth you can believe in? There is as much evidence for god as there is for Santa Claus, honest politicians, and UFOs.
Actually, I could make a better case for UFOs...
God/Yahweh or other gods or even Jesus may have arrived on a UFO craft for all anyone knows - especially if they had some super-human knowledge to impart. The "Burning Bush" and other Old Testament encounters with the "supernatural" could be just as well explained by extra-terrestrial visitations.
Jesus' recorded Ascension sounds a bit suspicious for a start!
"The "Burning Bush" and other Old Testament encounters with the "supernatural" could be just as well explained by extra-terrestrial visitations. "
Or by snacking on the local mushrooms.
More like hysteria or schizophrenia! Visions by St Paul and various "saints" or Joan of Arc, etc. - not only deluded themselves but thousands or millions of gullible, credulous fools (aka. religious).
