Fired for Christian beliefs

We read:
"A weatherman in California claims he was fired from an ABC affiliate after he objected to the station airing a story on successful local strip clubs. But he’s not just any weatherman — he‘s the station’s chief meteorologist.

Jack Church says he was fired from the Bakersfield, CA news station after he voiced his concerns about the story that featured how local strip joints were doing well despite the down economy

We all know that weathermen are wrong most of the time.

Except he was not fired for being a Christian. He was not fired for expressing his beliefs.

He was fired for not coming to work.

Since when do weathermen get to choose their stories? In fact, journalists themselves rarely have that kind of power, unless they're Dan Rather and even he got canned.

Christian or not, a journalist should be concerned about the TRUTH. If strip joints are doing well, that's a legitimate newstory. In fact, the ultra-Christian 700 Club would probably cover it as a sign that Satan is walking amongst us or something like that.
