This must be some of the worst bullsh*t I have ever heard

And you thought NASA was about exploring outer space! Not in Obamaland.
"In a far-reaching restatement of goals for the nation’s space agency, NASA administrator Charles Bolden says President Obama has ordered him to pursue three new objectives: to “re-inspire children” to study science and math, to “expand our international relationships,” and to “reach out to the Muslim world.”

Of those three goals, Bolden said in a recent interview with al-Jazeera, the mission to reach out to Muslims is “perhaps foremost,” because it will help Islamic nations “feel good” about their scientific accomplishments.

In the same interview, Bolden also said the United States, which first sent men to the moon in 1969, is no longer capable of reaching beyond low earth orbit without help from other nations.

“NASA is not only a space exploration agency,” Bolden concluded, “but also an earth improvement agency.”

So, the National Air and Space Association no longer deals with air and space? It seems these three goals should be for the National Science Foundation, not NASA.

Perhaps the Marxist-in-Chief feels we should organize and pay for Afghanitans space program? Or maybe put an Iranian terrorist on the moon? Or, how about giving all of our space technology to N. Korea, China, and Russia? (assuming there's something they haven't already stolen) I'll bet even the diehard Obamunists out there can't come up with a rational explanation for this move. That's not to say there isn't one.

It's been very clear to many of us that, from the time he was anointed, Mullah Obummer had two main goals.
1) to take the wealth from those who earn (Whites) and give it to those who simply want it. (blacks)
2) to let his Muslim brothers around the world know that he's really one of them, and he's on their side.

How i long for the old days in America when corrupt, lying, anti-American politicians were taken out into the yard and introduced to a tall tree and a strong rope. Simplicity is the key to effective solutions. Very effective!

Speaking of stealing technology - NASA was built on stolen Nazi rocket technology and the german scientists kidnapped by the US.

Anonymous said...

So what? We won the war. To the victor go the spoils! Besides, the Germans didn't have the technology to go to the moon. WE developed the technology for that feat by building on the primitive rocket technology.

As an employee for a subcontractor under NASA, this truly makes me ill. After seeing this article earlier this week, I had serious reservations about taking some time off. Unfortunately, Obama's economy overruled that thought.

MSM is trying hard to ignore this one too.

3:36 AM - looks like the Americans are just midgets sitting on the shoulders of foreign giants when it comes to the technolgy and culture they claim to be theirs.

NASA has a bigger budget than NSF. You drink from the deeper well.

First ditching the shuttle program in favor of hitching rides with the Russians.

Now this.

4:00 AM - Name-calling. Typical leftist mis-direction from the topic due to the lack of a reasonable argument.

Sorry, 3:18 AM got me distracted from the true nature of this topic. It is another sign of Pres. Obama's low opinion of America that he says we are unable to accomplish great things on our own. I refuse to believe that and know that America can do anything it sets it's mind to. We are still the greatest nation on Earth regardless of what our so-called leader says.

4:17 AM - you're a typical American jingoist! Waving your stars-and-stripes with blinkered determination even as the US ship of state sinks beneath the waves!

What the f*ck ever happened to Separation of Church and State? Oh, that's right, it only applies to Christians. This is no less than government endorsement of Islam, plain and simple. It is so huge a travesty that President Obama should be impeached for violating his oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution. Oh wait, that's right. He never actually took the oath...correctly.

"it will help Islamic nations “feel good” about their scientific accomplishments."

---I had no idea making bombs was a scientific accomplishment. Or perhaps we could give then a Nobel for testing the theory of gravity by throwing rocks?

You know, maybe it's time to defund NASA. Why not? It's just another government bureaucracy, we haven't even been back to the moon and the space station looks worst than one of those Indian reservations without casinos.

Let's face it, it's the private sector who's gonna make space exploration possible in the future. Google "Virgin Galactic" if you don't believe me.

By the way, I thought it was the job of teachers to "re-inspire" children to study science and math.

But maybe I'm wrong, if NASA is going to "re-inspire" the kids to study science and math then perhaps the Department of Education can handle the space program. Why I'm sure science teachers would make great astronauts, and those cafeteria ladies? Maybe we can give them liposuction and turn their fat into fuel for those rocket boosters.

It was conservative Justice Roberts that flubbed the oath. It was administered correctly later on.

1. "He wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math"

2. "He wanted me to expand our international relationships"

3. "Third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering."
-NASA Administrator Charles Bolden

Hmmm... now what is missing from each of these three mission statements?
Oh, I don't know. How about the word "SPACE"?!

---I had no idea making bombs was a scientific accomplishment.

You may want to look up Alfred Nobel, after whom the Nobel Prize is named.

It's just another government bureaucracy, we haven't even been back to the moon and the space station looks worst than one of those Indian reservations without casinos.

Because we all know the value of a space vessel is based on how attractive someone who turns down jobs to stay unemployed says it is.

Let's face it, it's the private sector who's gonna make space exploration possible in the future. Google "Virgin Galactic" if you don't believe me.

I don't believe you and neither do most people. Virgin's efforts used existing technology to achieve their low trajectory orbit. They didn't invent anything, maintain anything or contribute anything back into the US society in general. NASA supervises contracts and scientific experiments that permeate life as we know it today.

By the way, I thought it was the job of teachers to "re-inspire" children to study science and math.

You have to give kids something to point to. Space exploration, landing on the moon, science, etc are all things that NASA does and that teachers can point their students toward.

I guess you would rather see a teacher say "see? If you do nothing, you too can be unemployed from the advertising sector!"

Maybe we can give them liposuction and turn their fat into fuel for those rocket boosters.

Or we could just use the hot air and gas that you spew forth.

---I know, dynamite, which replaced nitroglycerin which was a very unstable substance. Now, have arabs invented anything better than dynamite? I don't think they invented C4.

"Because we all know the value of a space vessel is based on how attractive someone who turns down jobs to stay unemployed says it is."

---Answer me this, why do we have rich people paying the Russians millions of dollars to take them into space? Why are so many satellite makers using the french to launch their satellites into space?

"NASA supervises contracts and scientific experiments that permeate life as we know it today."

---Yet they're getting their funding cut, go figure.

"You have to give kids something to point to. Space exploration, landing on the moon, science, etc are all things that NASA does and that teachers can point their students toward."

---And how many billions of dollars are we gonna have to spend to point things out to children? Why not take a libertarian approach and let those kids who are oriented towards science study science while others study art and others go to wood shop class, math, calculus, whatever.

"I guess you would rather see a teacher say "see? If you do nothing, you too can be unemployed from the advertising sector!"

---There you go again with the personal attacks, with the "I am so superior to you because I am not unemployed." Karma's a bitch, buddy, you could find yourself unemployed, and then we'll see how arrogant you get to be.

Obama has ruined the economy, 9.6% unemployment means there are less job that pay less money with more people fighting for them, some of them with way more than 5 years of experience.

Geez, what a moronic comment from you. You do realize that both the French and the Russian space programs are socialized more than that of the US, right?

---Yet they're getting their funding cut, go figure.

I agree. Go figure. Instead of actually funding jobs that produce benefits for society and keep people working, you and your liberal friends would rather cut funding to NASA, see launches go overseas, and pay more unemployment benefits to slackers like you with no return on investment.

---And how many billions of dollars are we gonna have to spend to point things out to children?

We could spend nothing and have the best engineering minds go overseas. Is that what you want?

Why not take a libertarian approach and let those kids who are oriented towards science study science while others study art and others go to wood shop class, math, calculus, whatever.

So under your theory, we shouldn't fund libraries, because writers shouldn't have books to read and inspire them. We shouldn't fund museums, because artists should not see great works of art. That's what you're saying, right? Just keep examples of greatness away from kids so they can only aspire to be... ummm.... to be..... what?

Karma's a bitch, buddy, you could find yourself unemployed, and then we'll see how arrogant you get to be.

Arrogant? You are talking about arrogance when you turned down a job because it didn't pay you what you felt you are worth? Instead of taking the job and being a productive member of society, you decided to keep living off the taxpayer teat? And now you want to talk about "arrogance?"

Obama has ruined the economy, 9.6% unemployment means there are less job that pay less money with more people fighting for them, some of them with way more than 5 years of experience.

And you are doing SOOOOOO much to help it by turning down jobs that you think are beneath you.

You're not any sort of Libertarian. You are just a liberal who thinks that you are owed something from everyone else.

---I know that, I also know that if a private business wants to launch a satellite, he's more likely to do it with the Russians, or the French. After all, the French aren't trying to make us feel good about our accomplishments in art nor are the Russians celebrating our ability to brew vodka.

"We could spend nothing and have the best engineering minds go overseas. Is that what you want?"

---Don't be so overdramatic, do you know how many chinks we have studying at MIT? Our colleges attract the best and brightest from the entire world, space exploration is a very small component in the field of science.

You want to explore space? You have to do it like a business man. Open the space station to tourism, raise money, and then fund future ventures.

"So under your theory, we shouldn't fund libraries, because writers shouldn't have books to read and inspire them."

---If the free market wants a library let them build it and pay for it. Why should I be paying so some retired old woman can borrow Agatha Christie paperbacks? I'd rather go to Borders or Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com than a library. Those places are nicer.

"We shouldn't fund museums, because artists should not see great works of art."

---There are plenty of Museums that charge admissions fees, rent their spaces to private parties, and compete in the free market without government help. I went to the Atomic Museum in Las Vegas, paid $20 bucks but it was worth it. Of course, comrade anonymous wants the government to fund museums, how surprising.

No Hillary, it doesn't take a village, it takes one or two responsible PARENTS. Besides, there are plenty of examples of greatness that don't bankrupt the country. Really, you need to stop being so wasteful, America is broke, yet you're acting like a typical politician that doesn't want to make cuts if it affects the pork project on his district.

"'Arrogant? You are talking about arrogance when you turned down a job because it didn't pay you what you felt you are worth?"

At $30,000 all they're going to get is young ad school graduates who are desperate for the job and don't have a mortgage to pay. And you know what? It's gonna be hard attracting them because most copywriters I know HATE writing radio and do not want to be in a company where that's the only thing you do. And by teh way, some of those ad school graduates are getting jobs that pay $45k even $75k if they're very talented and have won lots of wards. So please, don't lecture me on what jobs I should take. I know what I'm worth, and that number isn't $30,000.

"You're not any sort of Libertarian. You are just a liberal who thinks that you are owed something from everyone else"

If NASA wants to remain competitive in the free market, THEY have to change,

NASA's job is not to compete in the "free market." NASA's mandate is one of scientific research. The fact that many of the experiments, research and products result in marketable products is secondary.

they have to improve without demanding yet another bailout.

NASA is not a company demanding a "bailout." Clearly you don't understand the issues.

Really? Where did I say that? Or is it your opinion that we should cut everything other than the money you suck off the rest of us while you turn down jobs?

This is not the cold war, we already won the race to the moon and nobody else is racing to Mars. So let's stop all romantic notions about NASA and cut their budget.

That is the problem with people like you. You think that is all that NASA does.

That is why it is impossible to ever discuss things with you. You display your ignorance and your willingness to lie to make a point over and over.

Most adults have some sort of morality. Clearly your parents never taught you any.

"I agree. That is why NASA is not about growing the private or public sectors."

---NASA is growing from the private sector, they don't generate their money in the free market, they take it from the government who takes it from the private sector through taxation.

"Actually, Limbaugh, Beck, and Stossel all support the space program and NASA. Geez it must suck to be you - having to lie all the time."

---Stossel is a libertarian, I doubt he supports it with public money. If you have evidence that says otherwise, use it.

"Yet that is what you advocate."

---No, I advocate cutting the budget across the board, and that includes NASA.

"More racism."

---Great, so now you're playing the race card. You should be ashamed of such cheap tricks. Real men debate, they don't call each other "racist."

"See, that is simply more selfishness from you. You seem to believe that making opportunities available for others and inspiring others somehow diminishes all."

---You sound just like Obama. Now there's a man who loves spreading opportunities. I was watching Suze Orman and I learned that in 2014 if you take a student loan and then decide to work for the government, you only have to pay your loan during 10 years, and after that your loan is gone EVEN if you still own money.

You think it's fair for some people to pay a student loan for 20 or 30 years while others only pay during 10 years and then get a free ride? That's great, that's like buying a house with a 30 year mortgage, getting a government job, and not having to pay your mortgage after 10 years.

"It is both. We have great opportunity and are a people of great generosity. Once again, you demonstrate that you are the one that doesn't believe in the American ideal."

---INDIVIDUALS have the choice of being generous, government isn't supposed to be. Most of the money donated to the victims of the tsunami came from PRIVATE individuals who made donations voluntarily. After 9/11, nobody was asked to donate blood yet countless Americans stood in line for hours out of their own free will. You want charity? Ask your parents for money, not the government.

"Saying a job is beneath you is arrogance."

---Fine, I'd like to see your wife working as a prostitute. I'd like to see your daughter doing porn. Since no job can ever be beneath you, I'd like to see if that's true.

"You aren't working. You are living off the tax payer teat. You don't have a profession."

---I am living of my parents and of my savings. I have never taken a dime out of the public teat.

"Clearly your parents never taught you any."

---Didn't your parents teach you not to talk about other people's parents? The difference between you and me is I don't mess with people's families.

What's there to debate? You cannot argue with a fact, Bobby. And that fact is that you ARE a racist. Your words prove that time and time again.

"---I've had sex with women of different races, how the hell can I be a racist?"

How much did they cost?

"He's always saying that my parents raised me wrong and that I live in a basement."

Oh, poor baby. Go cry to your mommy.

Bobby said...

"How much did they cost?"

---Anywhere from $20 to $150. Which is not a bad deal considering how expensive "decent" women are.

Either way, after my multiple purchases I've come to the conclusion that blue eyed blondes is what I like best. Does that make me a racist? If so, I guess that must make Tiger Woods a racist since we both seem to have a thing for blondes.

Of course, I doubt Mr. Suburbia approves of my lifestyle. No, good decent suburbian citizens bring their hookers to a Motel 6, away from the prying eyes of neighbors.

You condemn me for my honesty, yet your world is filled with lies and pretense. I once saw a bachelor party at a strip bar, you know what the groom did? He had 20 different women sat on him, one after the other.

You know, I thought marriage was supposed to be about love, how the hell can a groom claim to love his wife when he has sex or a lap dance with another woman on the night before the wedding?

The hell with that, I'm happy with my life, I'm happy I don't have to apologize for my actions like Tiger Woods did. I'm happy I didn't have to go on TV and say "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky."

I pity those men, they are such hypocrites. How can Tiger talk about being ashamed when it's clear to me he enjoys having multiple women? If he's ashamed of anything is of getting caught and perhaps facing an expensive divorce.

Men like me are honest and free. We say what we mean and mean what we say, we march to the beat of our own drum without asking the church and society for permission.

NASA is not "growing" at all. That is what you fail to understand. NASA administers contracts.

---Stossel is a libertarian, I doubt he supports it with public money. If you have evidence that says otherwise, use it.

Sorry, but you made the claim that those guys hated NASA. The proof is not on me. I have actually heard them support NASA. You, on the other hand, made up another lie to try and make a point, but you got caught.

(And by the way, Stossel had a report on Fox on July 4th called "What Is Great About America." One of the things he named was NASA. Daggone it really sucks to be you getting caught lying all the time.)

---No, I advocate cutting the budget across the board, and that includes NASA.

So you say that you aren't advocating cutting things and then say that you want to cut across the board. Flip flop much?

---Great, so now you're playing the race card. You should be ashamed of such cheap tricks. Real men debate, they don't call each other "racist."

What race card? The race card is playing a victim. I am not doing that. I am calling you out on your racist and prejudicial comments. Do your parents know that you are a racist?

---You sound just like Obama.

If that is the conclusion you have reached, then you aren't listening.

You see, Bobby, employing people is creating opportunities for people. I believe that such employment is good for people and society. You believe that jobs are beneath you. You want to talk about not paying back student loans (which I abhor) and yet there you are, thrilled that your liberal buddies want to extend unemployment so you can live off the rest of us longer.

---Fine, I'd like to see your wife working as a prostitute.

That's funny. You just equated your advertising profession to prostitution. I guess with all the sex you have paid for, it is a logical comparison in your mind.

cont.

---I am living of my parents and of my savings. I have never taken a dime out of the public teat.

Well, aren't you da MAN! Thirty five years old and living with mommy in her basement, paying for sex and taking money from unemployment while sipping lattes at Starbucks.

---Didn't your parents teach you not to talk about other people's parents? The difference between you and me is I don't mess with people's families.

I have only drawn the logical conclusions from your immature and selfish remarks and actions, Bobby. I am not the one messing with your family - you are. You are the one whose actions and morals disgraces them. If that truth bothers you, that is not on me - that is on you.

You can attack my views, you can attack me, but if you attack my family then you're gonna see a side of me you're not gonna like.

What side is that, Bobby? The side that lies? The racist side? The side that thinks they are superior to everyone? The side that is unemployed and turns down jobs? The side that lives in the basement with his mommy? The side that can't debate anything? The side that has to pay for friends and companionship? The side that won't stand up for what they believe? The side that tells others how to live, but takes affront at imaginary slights? The side that thinks that walking on a treadmill should be an Olympic event? The side that demands that businesses be run a certain way but never ran a business? The side that can't read a box on a printer?

I have seen that side and so has every one else.

So what side are you going to show me, Bobby?
