Apple REMOVES Christian Ministry App After Complaints From LGBT

Apple has removed an App from its store after LGBT advocates made a claim it portrayed being gay as a “sickness,” a claim the ministry says is not true.

As reported by NBC News, that the tech giant removed the App created by Living Hope Ministries, a Texas-based organization, following a Change.org petition from gay rights group Truth Wins Out. The petition called the “ex-gay” app “dangerous,” “bigoted” and “hateful.”

“The app falsely portrays being gay as an ‘addiction’, ‘sickness’, and ‘sin,'” the petition claims.

Living Hope Ministries of Arlington, Texas, told The Christian Post in an email that it was disappointed, but will continue its work.

“We are saddened by Apple’s and Microsoft’s removal of our app because of a single person’s false accusations. Regardless of their decision we will continue to make the app and our services available to those who seek them,” said Ricky Chalette, executive director of the ministry.

He added, “In a day when diversity and tolerance is celebrated I would hope it would be extended to issues of faith and practice.”

Another example of the tolerance of the left for other points of view, none.

I am reminded of Chairman Mao's Cultural Revolution. Party thugs forced people to stand with signs around their necks confessing their "sins", college curriculums were purged so that only "approved" thoughts were taught, past artifacts of centuries of Chinese history were destroyed so that only "modern" history is seen. Draw your own conclusions between this stuff and the communists.

The days when "diversity and tolerance" were celebrated never came. They were always merely a facade put on by the left who's singular goal as always is power over everyone.

Anon 3:19 makes a very good point about where our society is going. That said -

Homosexuality and lesbianism are not a sickness or addiction. They are an error in the genetic makeup of an individual. For those of us who are straight, think back on your life and try to remember when you said to yourself, "Hmmm, would I rather have sex with my own gender, or with the opposite gender?" Bet you didn't ever have that conversation with yourself. You just grew up attracted to the opposite gender when sexual relations were thought of.

As for being homosexual or lesbian, the Bible says nothing about that being a sin. The sin is having sexual relations with one's own gender.

If Living Hope Ministries really claimed homosexuality was an addiction, sickness or sin, they were wrong. But perhaps rather than deny them a voice, it would be better to educate them.
