Must not use Star of David as a symbol of Jewry

What else?

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), an atheist-activist non-profit, is known for going after perceived violations of the separation of church and state. This in mind, the organization has a new target: a Holocaust memorial.

The group is combating the inclusion of a Star of David in a proposed statehouse monument that is being planned in Ohio. Its leaders’ opposition to the religious symbol is rooted in the belief that it would violate the separation of church and state.

A press release published on the organization’s website notes that architect Daniel Libeskind purposefully included the star, while other designs that almost made the cut did not have any religious sentiment included; the group noted that it was possible to select an entirely non-religious option.

The organization contends that non-Jewish groups, including homosexuals, Jehovah’s Witnesses, the disabled and others are left out by the inclusion of the star. In the end, though, the board approved the design on Thursday, despite the FFRF’s intense opposition.

My God! There are no homosexual Jews?

1) Would that approval have come if it were a Christian cross?

2) What percentage of atheists are Jewish? (think high)

3) What percentage of complaints from atheists are against Christians, as opposed to Jews?

But will the Chakra be displayed along with the Star of David? Romani (Gypsy) Chakra is the symbol of the Romani people, no matter what their religion. Some sources say that over 500,000 Romani died in the Great Devouring, (the Holocaust.)

Most of these types of “atheists” are just merely Marxists and Fascists who have replaced a worship of the metaphysical and conceptual with the worship of The State. The State is their god, their supreme. Religion takes faith away from The State, so must be driven from the public square and into hiding by any means necessary.

Annon 2:54, your comment is right on the money. It seems athiests are more obsessed with religion than anyone else.

I am an atheist and I have a very great disregard for these people and for Liberals in general !

I used to think it was only the weak atheists who were causing all these problems but it's become much more apparent that it's just the left-leaning atheists.

As usual, the left calls for "tolerance" while being intolerant themselves. Weakness in their faith has little to do with it.

the star violates nothing. The state isn't "establishing a religion"
