Dicussing abortion "within a pro-choice realm" is not tabling an outright ban on student clubs that oppose abortion. All this does is make it so as students are allowed to discuss why, how, when & where they should get abortion. Pro-life clubs are still banned from dicussions. George should have invaded Canada & left Iraq alone.

The entire source article is well worth reading if only to gain insight into their reasoning process.
Summed up their philosophy appears to be that first the decision will be made as to what will be done and then the speech (debate) will be allowed to occur only in the context of support for the previously decided position.
Apparently for these fascists the debate is to support the fait accompli and not to have an honest debate of the issues.

There is not much to discuss after the abortion is performed, so what is the point? Appearently, the students are effectively banned from discussing anything of import.
And if they're allowed to get away with this he next step will be even larger. This is really much more than just a single issue.
