TN: Coach Says He Was Fired Because of Conservative Song
We read:
"26 year old Bryan Glover is not shy about his political opinions. He is proud tea party Republican and felt compelled to voice his disappointment in the current administration through his music. But he never thought sharing his new song would leave him unemployed.
The song is called, "When You're Holding A Hammer, Everything Looks Like A Nail." It is a reference to Glover's frustrations with the current administration and President Obama. Glover co-wrote the tune with a parent on the Grassland Middle School football team. He never thought sending it out to friends, family and player's parents could put the hammer on the nail of his job with the school.
It all stems from an email Glover sent through his personal Yahoo account. "I sent it 99 percent of the people in my inbox-- all the way from my mom to people I haven't spoken to in years," said Glover. But the email, with a link to his new song, went out to a handful of parents of kids on the Grassland Football Team.
Within hours, parents called the school to complain of the politically charged lyrics and Glover said the principal at Grassland Middle School told the head football coach to release Glover from his position with the team.
"I found it amusing," said parent Michael Kasaitis about Glover's country song. He said no matter the opinion on his music, the link was sent from his personal email account and it is free speech. "I was totally upset. He has every right to write a song, write a book or to make his opinion known," said Kasaitis.

Political correctness (pro Democrat) strikes again. As an Australian I can't understand why big brother is intruding into so many personal lives out of job hours and not job related. Do you no longer have the right to a personal opinion? What is the difference between the current interference with freedom of speech and slavery? From what I read in the US media so many government agencies both state and federal along with other leftist organisations have removed the right of free speech from employees engaged in out of hours activities.

I certainly hope Mr. Glover fully intends to sue this Fascist indoctrination camp for every cent they have. The entire education system in the US has become an active part of the left-wing, (thanks to the notoriously leftist teachers unions) as has the so-called "news" media and the entertainment industry, both of which are controlled by communists.

No, everyone knows that the media and news outlets are tightly controlled by the Tea Party. That's why they always portray the Tea Party in such a positive light! Further evidence is how they never have a disparaging comment about Sarah Palin.
if he sent out muslim call to prayer to everyone, the asshole school administration would have given him a raise. They would not dare offend the perp in charge in the white house.

If you're that dense and out of touch with reality, all the references in the world won't help you. Or worse yet, you may just be a liberal, which would also explain your detachment from reality and your fear of other peoples opinions, especially when they are factual.

Do you really beieve that the dhimmitude on the left would actually recognise sarcasm? They are more likely to believe what you say and increase their efforts to displace conservatives compltely. Thank God for Fox News.
I like the superintendent's comment:
"It may have to do with how he got the parents' e-mails..."
As in - we don't have a real charge against him, or cause for firing, so we're going to assume he made unauthorized use of information obtained from school computers rather than assume that the parents themselves e-mailed him at his personal e-mail account.
Ok, please provide references for the existence of electricity, that alternating current works, and that whole gravity thing is real! Otherwise, I have no reference to believe that you actually posted something here.
It makes as much sense as asking for references that Washington was the first president or that the sun shines during the day.
I'm not writing a doctoral thesis and I don't have to do your research and groundwork for you. If you don't believe the news media are controlled by the left, please feel free to believe that. If you like, believe that MSNBC and Rachel Maddow are controlled by the Tea Party. What you believe doesn't affect reality here.
I do recall some specific studies about the amount of positive/negative journalism about Obama vs. McCain though, and the conclusion being rather strongly toward leftist media bias, as if such a study was even necessary. If you'd like to ignore this study, feel free. If you'd like to research it, I'd recommend Google.
If you are going to make statements of "fact", back them up. If you can't, STFU. Simple, eh?
