KFC to use college girls' butts to sell bunless burgers

Seems like a useful excuse to look at a nice rear-end to me!
"KFC wants US college co-eds to advertise the company's new bunless chicken burger on the backsides of their sweat pants, the company has announced -- an idea branded "obnoxious" by a national women's group.

Female students interested in taking part have been asked to register their details at the company's Facebook page. They will be rewarded with the customized sweatpants, KFC gift certificates and $500.

Fashion houses Juicy Couture and Victoria's Secret have been advertising their brands on the seat of sweat pants for years.

But the KFC promotion has drawn the ire of the National Organization for Women. "It's so obnoxious to once again be using women's bodies to sell fundamentally unhealthy products," the group's president Terry O'Neill told USA Today.

The harridans at NOW are just leftist haters -- haters of the business orientation that has made America the economic powerhouse that it is. There is NO proof that KFC products are unhealthy. The haters would have forced them out of business long ago if there were.

By freeing women from the puritanical bondage they were subjugated in prior to the 1960s, NOW has empowered them to make choices about what to do with their own bodies.

NOW should be celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of these young women, who don't feel bound by the old sexist, patriarchal stereotypes about proper and modest behavior regarding the labeling of their backsides!

Isn't this the world that NOW had in mind when standing up for women making their own choices about what to do with their own bodies?

KFC chicken "products" aren't very healthy if eaten regularly, nor are a lot of "junk food". The consumer is expected to use discretion in what he or she eats, but obviously many don't to judge by common eating habits, but that's freedom for you! Using sex and women's bodies (or men's) to sell products obviously works but maybe isn't very tasteful or elevating as regards being a reflection of our contemporary western "culture".

So NOW is upset over this, raising a large hue and cry. But where were they when Iran was going to stone a woman to death? I recall hearing NOTHING from them about the stoning.

The NOW shrews are upset because KFC rejected their applications.

Odd how the radical leftist lesbians of NOW pick and choose when they'll get "offended and outraged" and by what. Why were they silent during the media attacks on Monica Lewinski? Where have they been during the vicious attacks on Sarah Palin and her children?

Fact is, they are simply a bunch of hate-filled, attention-starved lesbians who realize their 15 minutes has ended and they're now totally irrelevant. In fact, this bunch has been so deeply devoted to the causes of the far-out fringes of the radical left that they've never really been relevant.

The only 'womens issue' that NOW cares about is preserving their so-called right to murder.

Why not use men's butts? KFC's mistake is that it's not exploiting both sexes equally. They should learn from Abercrombie & Fitch.

Good point Bobby, although it does tell us that you would prefer to see mens butts. But you're from FL. so it's understandable.

Great marketing! I am certainly happy to look at their advertisements, and will gladly participate in their market research! Proper ad placement should always be considered when selling something to men.

Still, though, KFC is garbage. All fried chicken is unhealthy; its something you should only eat once in a great long while. If you want fried chicken, don't screw around with KFC...the chicken from major chain stores like Kroger's or Von's is actually much better than what you get at KFC. Best of all, take the time and make it yourself--if you can follow simple instructions, you can do it.

I didn't realise that KFC was dealing CRACK!

Junk food and vulgar advertizing - guess that's quite appropriate for a vulgar junk culture - what happened to the vision of 1776 or the post-war dream of 1945?

I love irony. In this case, putting ads for "bunless" sandwiches on buns.

---Actually, what I would prefer is for companies not to associate food with ass. It is one thing to see Paris Hilton washing a car and eating a cheeseburger like she did with Carl Jr.'s. That's hot.

It is not hot to have the logo of a food brand in an ass no matter how pretty.

Heh yeah I noticed that too Luke, and I guess I'm a sucker for advertising but I'd buy a double down from these ladies any day of the week. Of course you also have to consider that whoever came up with this idea has gotten a ton of free advertising BECAUSE of the National Organization for Women bringing it to everyones attention, so bravo KFC!

It's high time that these exploited women come forward, turn around, bend over, and really show us just how they are being exploited. And if it will help, I'd be glad to eat some KFC during the analysis!
