He is of course objectively correct in all he says about interracial differences but the undertone of resentment is disturbing

Kanye West has found himself facing accusations of racism after his recent comments regarding Jewish people. The rapper took part in a radio interview in which he claimed that African-Americans are less connected professionally than Jewish people, and therefore have fewer opportunities. It’s the latest in a string of potentially racist actions and comments that West has had in recent weeks.

In the interview, West called out Obama critics who felt the President hadn’t done enough during his two terms in office. “People want to say Obama can’t make those moves or he’s not executing. That’s cause he ain’t got those connections. Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people,” he said. “You know we don’t know nobody that got a nice house … with paper that we can go to when we’re down. Can you guarantee your daughter could get a job at this radio station? If you own this radio station, you could guarantee that.”

In response, the Anti-Defamation League has slammed West for his comments about Jewish people and demanded an apology. “This is classic anti-Semitism,” said ADL national director Abraham Foxman in a statement. “As a celebrity with a wide following, Kanye West should know better. We hope that he will take responsibility for his words, understand why they are so offensive and apologize to those he has offended.”

West also ranted about the lack of successful African-Americans in proportion to other ethnicities. “When I tell you [there are] only seven black billionaires, look at that marginalization,” he said. “And we feel like we’re happy because Rick Ross or I got a Maybach, or they put [in] a black President."
