"Used to be "racist" was used by a person who hated another person because of that person's race. Now the word simply means, "You're not being politically correct."
Same with "terrorist." Remember the good old days when "terrorist" referred to vicious men with box cutters flying airplanes into buildings and murdering a couple thousand people? Now "Terrorist" has been cheapened to mean, "You're not being politically correct."
During the recent We Won't Fly demonstration at DFW an airport employee implied that protesting the TSA full body scanners was helping the terrorists. "If there's so much fuss about them, you know the terrorists don't want them," she told libertarian activist Justin Oliver. Meaning, apparently, that standing up for one's Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable searches makes one a terrorist-lover.
In April a Houston TV station reported that a math teacher accused a 13-year-old girl of making "terroristic threats" after pointing her finger in the teacher's direction and saying "bang" while playing cops & robbers with other kids.
Julian Assange is a "terrorist" for simply pulling back the curtain of lies and revealing America's political wizards as the deceitful manipulators that they are.
Of course all bomb threats should be taken seriously. But let's also get over the ludicrous misuse of race and terrorist baiting.

The author makes some very poor arguments, the DFW employee did not call the libertarian a terrorist lover only that the protest helped terrorists. In gang neighborhoods the finger gun gesture in a “gun free zone” can lead to the real thing outside that zone and gang members who kill are very young so the “cops and robbers” analogy may not be accurate either. Why a true libertarian would be protesting against someone seeing them naked does not make much sense either. If there were another motive for the scanning that would make sense but there is none at present. They should be protesting that CCW carriers be allowed to carry on the plane which is more in line with their beliefs.

Real terrorists must be laughing their heads off - even if their specific plots fail they've caused chaotic disruption to international travel and a "headless chicken" mentality on a global scale!
Have you ever stopped to think about how much damage, hysteria, and chaos can be caused by just one low-life sitting in a cave somewhere with a lap-top? And don't forget the hundreds-of-Billions it costs to deal with the above.
What the above tells us is,
a) so long as one Al-Qaeda terrorist/sympathizer remains alive, terrorism will never end.
b) today, a war can be waged by one person against any nation(s).
c) knowledgeable people know that there is no real defense against terrorism. There is only govt. sponsered theatrics to keep the people quiet.
So is there an answer to terrorism? Yes, but it requires something that most so-called civilized nations lack. The "willingness" to totally eradicate any person, group, town, village, or nation, that engages in terrorism in "any" way. So long as terrorists know that Western societies lack that willingness, a fact we prove to them on a daily basis, they have nothing to fear, and therefor, will not stop. We are engaged in a religious war with an enemy that understands only one thing, unlimited force, and "the willingness to use it" without worrying about the morning headlines.
Is there an alternative when dealing with this type of enemy? Of course. Capitulation.
I have absolutely NO problem with "full-body scanners".
As a matter of fact EVERYONE on a flight should be scanned.
Why are so many people afraid of a security system which may save their lives?
I can believe so many people are that prudish that they are unwilling to go through the scanner.
1. How many people have "their junk" fondled when boarding an Isreali plane at JFK?
2. How many times have Isreali planes been taken and used as bombs?
3. Ever hear anyone complain about their tactics?
Do you get the idea that we're doing something wrong, as usual? What the tax-paying fools are put through at our airports has nothing to do with security or terrorism. It' all about political correctness, and the fear of, (Gasp!) offending someone. Anyone. We have become a nation of weak, mindless sheep, and our govt. treats us accordingly. We deserve nothing better.
As long as the pc is the order of the day terrorists will wage war, illegals will cross the border and GBLT will punch above their weight. All because the masses refuse to challenge the real bigots on the left.
The term God Save America has never been more true since the left has gained power, through the flawed legislature and court system, because God is the only entity able to save what the public have unwittingly sold their souls for.
Perhaps God doesn't want to save America. Why should a deity or anything else save a country from dealing with the consequences of its own actions or defaults.
