Whining Britons
Coming from the homeland of political correctness, this is not a big surprise:
"British YouTube users are amongst the most sensitive in the world, executives at the site have claimed.
Amid demands for an independent regulator to police its content they said Britons are amongst the most likely to object to footage hosted on the site.
The company has reacted by introducing special “Britain-only” policies following a raft of complaints from users over gang-related videos.
Victoria Grand, head of policy at YouTube, told The Times: “The UK is a big flagging country. We get a lot of videos flagged up in the UK because of issues that British people are concerned about which maybe aren’t an issue in the US, such as the brandishing of guns.”

I have a friend in Germany who can't watch some of the funniest videos on Youtube because they are re-subbed out-takes from "Downfall." My favorite one is Hitler Gets Banned From X-Box Live!

Language Warning!
As is plain to see, political correctness has turned the UK into a somewhat less than free country, and the very same thing is happening in the US. Political correctness is a greater threat to freedom than is terrorism.
A friend of mine worked in Belgium and told me co-workers routinely sent each other pornography and other offensive content, and nobody cared, not even management.
British TV shows porn after 11pm, and they have all kinds of offensive shows.
But someone brandishing his gun? Well, I guess that's too much for them.
There are no "british" people left.
All you have now are the Islamo-cow-tailed bunch of wimps and are afraid of their own shadow.
At least they won't have to worry about being invaded (except for the Muslims, they want the whole damn world anyway) because, who would want the place.
It's sad to see a great nation reduced to a sniveling, wimpering pile of wimps and pathetic whiners. No wonder they are a second class power and have no standing in the world.
Unfortunately, with the moron we have in the White House, we may be following suite. At least we have a few who are still willing to stand up to the PC nazis.

Geoffrey, how can socialism be on its way out when the only viable political parties you have are Labor and the Tories, which is basically left vs. left-wing?
All the more reason I believe US citizens should fight harder against the Jackboots! I believe all those who love freedom should tell the thought police to shut up or move to a repressive regime!
Geoffrey, you need to look out your window and see what country you're in, because it can't be the UK. Britain is becoming more socialist with each passing day. But, if you prefer to not deal with reality, so be it.
