Houston VA Cemetery Censors God & Jesus From Funerals

This is a disgrace. Many of those buried at the cemetery would have been Christians of one sort or another so a blanket ban on Christian references disrespects them.
"Earlier today The Blaze covered a breaking story out of Houston, where three different veterans groups have filed suit against the Veterans Administration, alleging a First Amendment violation when the VA censored the memorial services at the Houston National Cemetery by prohibiting words like ‘God’ and ‘Jesus’ from being spoken during funerals.

Arleen Ocascio, the director of the VA cemetery in Houston who told groups that they cannot use specific religious language on the property, has been offered the opportunity to respond to this story and has not yet returned our calls. Ms. Ocascio has informed other media outlets that she cannot comment on any issue currently being litigated. In the meantime, calls for Ocascio’s resignation or termination are building.

And if you do use those words, what will they do? This is one of "the most" blatant violations of the First Amendment that i can recall, although there are so many these days that's it's difficult to keep track.

This type of decision could only come the the Marxist regime now in power. No minor bureauocrat would dare make a decision like this unless approval came from way up the chain. This is also another example of what happens when a nation of weak, mindless fools have the power of the vote.

I bet the cemetary queen would have no problem if some moose slim iman wanted to say allah bless you or have a moose slim service, her master in washington would demand it.

Civil disobedience has a long and honorable tradition in this country.

But I'm not sure this really would rise to the level of civil disobedience. The cemetery queen might . . . might . . . be able to preapprove the text of any comments I might give. She d### sure couldn't control what came out of my mouth at the graveside!!

Surely the words used should be specific to the particular funeral - re what the deceased was - christian, jewish, muslim, non-religious, or whatever.
