Media suppress Jackson's use of the "N-word"

We read:
"TVNewser has been sent the transcript of what Jesse Jackson said Sunday morning July 6, as he prepared for an interview on Fox & Friends Weekend. Below is the partial transcript we received in our tips box, and confirmed to be authentic by Fox News Channel representatives.
"Barack...he's talking down to black people...telling n-s how to behave.

So, yes. Jesse Jackson did use the "N" word. But it was not directed at Barack Obama. Fox News and Bill O'Reilly have maintained there was more on the tape, but that the un-aired portion was not relevant to the issue at hand: about whether Obama was "talking down" to the black community.

So much for burying the N-word... Could you imagine if that were a white conservative saying that?

Lots of comment on the blogs -- e.g. here

If Fox had mentioned the "N" that Jackson said they would have been called liars, groups would have hired audio consultants to testify that another word was said. In the end Fox would be accused of being more right wing that it is already being accused of, then Fox would lose even more left leaning commentaries to balance its news in their effort to be "Fair and Balanced"

Where are the other black "leaders" condeming Jackson and demanding his resignation?
Can you say Imus? (and Imus didn't say the N word he just said Ho)

In a discussion about why blacks can use the "N" word, and whites can't, Whoopi Goldberg said:

"We don't live in the same world. What I need you to understand is the frustration that goes along with when you say we live in the same world. It isn't balanced."

It's official - black & white aren't held to the same standards.

Fox news droped the ball by not airing the whole tape.

Sort of.

FoxNews explanation was that they wanted the story to focus on Jackson's comments on Obama, and not have other "distractions" take away from that story.

I can see their point of view on that.

However, what they missed was that there was another story lurking there - that of Jackson using the "n-word."

They could have and should have aired the tape as two segments and two stories.

What makes this second story so compelling is that Jackson is one of the people that have called for the eradication of the word and has said that if the word is wrong to use for some, it is wrong to use for all. (Which is the correct stance.)

In the end, there were two stories (Jackson's comment on Obama and Jackson's use of the n-word) and FoxNews wrongly decided to air only one until they were "outed" by someone else.

Don't be fooled into thinking that Fox is somehow a "conservative" news station. They're not! They're simply a bit less liberal than the others. They are also some of the biggest purveyors of political correctness on TV!

As for Je$$e Jackoff, one of the country's oldest race-pimps, he's losing it. He's doesn't like sharing the cameras with $harpton, and now Obama. He knows (as does $harpton) from long experience that keeping himself in the news = $$$! Had these remarks been made by a White person, CNN and MSNBC would have been running "specials" for days!

This anon is right. Fox is not conservative. They are radical reactionaries.

(Can you imagine thinking Fox is liberal????)
