Must not criticize circumcision

Might offend Muslims:
"Russell Crowe has apologised for his Twitter tirade against circumcision when he called the practice "barbaric and stupid."

"Circumcision is barbaric and stupid. Who are you to correct nature? Is it real that GOD requires a donation of foreskin? Babies are perfect," Crowe wrote on Thursday, questioning the Old Testament mandate for the practice on Jewish males.

Crowe's comments were part of an online conversation with his friend, Inglourious Basterds actor Eli Roth - who is Jewish - but the statement quickly ignited a firestorm, with media outlets reporting the comments as possibly anti-Semitic.

The Oscar-winner promptly deleted the message and apologised.

Actually, anything anyone says that jews dislike, or disagree with, is considered "anti-Semitic". It's how they keep their critics quiet.

"Who are you to correct nature"?

Would Russell say that same thing to gays and other assorted freaks who seek to change their gender? I'd bet not.

hmmmm, how come these same Nazis don't care about the tonsils being removed from children OR the tattoos placed on them, OR the earrings and other piercings?

The removal of foreskin is healthier for children, science backs it up.

This is not about God or nature. As Anon 3:23 says, no one has a problem with the removal of hair/nails/piercing ears etc... Or the removal of cancers/appendix etc.
This is about societal norms. In the US circumcision is fairly common. It used to be in many western countries but fell out of favour here in Australia some time ago. Many people are now somewhat rabid on the idea.

It is time that the left were told to piss off and mind their own business. I have never heard of any problems with children being circumcised but I have heard of problems first hand about it being done after the age of 18. Aside from the religious issues there are definite health advantages to be gained such as improved hygene and reduced STD transmission. Surely these positives alone surpass any imaginary downside?

Since it is a male issue female commentary has no value. There is no comparison to female circumcision in any concievable way. To use that as a pretext is bullshit.

Since abortion is a female issue, male commentary has not value.

Who are we to "correct" nature? Well, I'll tell you right after I wash up and trim my toenails, Russell. Now go tell your fiends to remove their tattoos.
