British hospital tells support group not to call stillborn babies 'angels' as 'religious word may offend'
No word that any atheists have objected so does the hospital think that it knows better than atheists what atheists want?
"When Michelle Taylor set up a hospital support group, she decided 'angels' was the perfect way to describe stillborn and miscarried babies.
But health chiefs thought otherwise and have told the group to drop the word as it may offend grieving parents who are not religious.
Mrs Taylor, 29, said: 'The word angel is not meant to have a religious sense whatsoever. It is just a word we call our children when we lose them. It is a beautiful word and it fits perfectly.'
Danielle Sanderson wrote: 'There is only one word to describe these beautiful babies that visit for a short time. 'They are angels. I understand the hospital's points, but I think there is no other word to use.'

It is common to call a kindly or generous person an angel so it is a Christian concept that has become generally useful -- and is probably very comforting to most of the bereaved parents. But hatred of Christianity takes precedence over helping grieving people, of course

Yet another indication that Britain is a dying nation, one that is rotting from the inside. Hopefully, their new Muslim "citizens" will soon take full control and make it better. Anything is better than this endless PC nonsense.

The US is usually included, as they are "almost" as bad as the Brits. But the Brits seem to be working very hard to be the world leaders in stupidity.
The Brits have already caved in to Muslim influence, while the united States has not (yet.) So if the shoe fits....
Even more silly, Islam (and I guess other religions) know the concept of angels quite well.

A group of children and teenagers attacked a Jewish dance group with stones during a performance at a street festival in Hannover, Germany, injuring one dancer, police said today.
Hannover police spokesman Thorsten Schiewe says the teenagers used a megaphone to shout anti-Semitic slurs.
Police are investigating the incident, which happened Saturday afternoon. Schiewe said a 15-year-old and a 19-year-old were being questioned and it was not yet clear if the attack had been organised in advance.
Schiewe said today it appeared that several of the attackers were Muslim immigrant youths.
The dance group cancelled their performance after the incident.
It is wishful thinking by Americans to think other nations, incl. the Brits, are worse PC-wise or Muslim-wise; and even then some Yanks (as here) have to climb down a bit and admit they are "almost" as bad.
I think the Brits are worst for PC but nobody can crow -- except maybe the Swiss
