We read:
"The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Monday called on presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to disavow conservative rocker Ted Nugent after he encouraged members of the National Rifle Association (NRA) to defeat Democrats and “chop their heads off in November.”
“Mitt Romney surrogate Ted Nugent made offensive comments about President Obama and November’s elections this weekend that are despicable, deplorable and completely beyond the pale,” DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz said in a press advisory. “He called the Administration ‘vile,’ ‘evil’ and ‘America-hating,’ and said much worse.”
Over the weekend, Nugent told the NRA crowd that they “should be to get a couple of thousand people per person who’s here to vote for Mitt Romney in November.”
“If you don’t know that our government is wiping its ass with the Constitution, you’re living under a rock some place. And that there’s a dead soldier, an airman, a Marine, a seaman, a hero of the military that just got his legs blown off for the U.S. Constitution, and we got a president and an attorney general who doesn’t even like the Constitution,” he said, adding that the four left-leaning Supreme Court justices were “like a stoned hippy” because they “don’t believe in the Constitution.”
“And if you want more of those kinds of evil, anti-American people in the Supreme Court then don’t get involved and let Obama take office again. Because I’ll tell you this right now, if Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
Nugent continued by urging attendees to get everyone they knew to vote for Romney and against “this vile, evil, America-hating administration” or “we’ll be a suburb of Indonesia next year.” “We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November!” he exclaimed. “Any questions?”
New York magazine reports that the Secret Service is looking into Nugent’s comments as a possible threat on the president’s life. “We are aware of it, and we’ll conduct an appropriate follow up,” a spokesperson for the agency said.

Yet the film "Death of a President" (the fictionalized movie about GWB's assasination) is most likely considered a piece of artwork by a nutcase like Wasserman-Schultz.
Yes, if anyone knows about being vile, evil, and America-hating, it's the radically socialist Jew from FL., Waasserman-Schultz, a women who gets her pannies wet fantisizing about being the first Jew in the Oval Office.
Perhaps the Secret Service should read the Constitution which will hopefully teach them the difference between "violent rhetoric" and "protected political speech".
Then again, the SS is under the wing of the DOJ, so we already know what their view will be.
Why dont the entire demacRAT party call for a invesigation of CALYPSO LOUIE and his NATION of ISLAM their the real hate mongers
Mr. Nugent went a little over the line with the 'I'll be in jail or dead' comment. That can be construed as a death threat.
No problems with the remainder of his comments. He's just telling it like it is. Although a tad bit more graphically than I would.
"I'll be in jail or dead"
Where's the threat? One can construe anything to mean anything, if one so chooses. Having it stand up in a court room is a whole other story.
Nugent told the truth. I agree with the comment that Nugent is much sharper than he is given credit for. However, this is how liberal attacks go, if they can't debate they demean or question the intelligence of their opponent. This administration has done more damage to the country than imagined. In three years they spent more than Bush in eight with two full blown wars going. A disaster. Four more years of this will sink our great country.
A. Levy: That's exactly the problem. One can construe Nugent's comment to mean what they want. And while it won't stand up in court, it gives liberals a great chance to characterize conservatives in a negative light.
There's not much to gain in descending to liberal's level of discourse.
Tell the demacRATS to GO POUND SAND
the president is offensive to Americans. He is a threat to U.S. citizens, why doesnt the fbi investigate him? He is the enemy of the people.
Any time someone construes another person's words as a "threat" against the sitting president, the Secret Service investigates. I remember in 1995 when they investigated "The Exploding Heads Web Page" for posting a series of Photoshopped images of Bill Clinton "exploding" his own head....nothing new to see here, folks, move along....
Dean, with all due respect, you couldn't be more wrong when you say, "there's not much to gain in descending to liberals level". There is victory to gain. Victory in the ongoing culture war, which is exactly why the Left uses these kinds of tactics.
In case you haven't noticed, the Left will misconstrue, manipulate, and distort every statement coming from anyone on the Right. It's one of their most basic tactics, so why should we allow that to make us speak anything but the truth and our mind.
No sir, we need to stop worrying about being seen in a negative light, (which will happen no matter what we say or don't say) take the gloves off, and start fighting back while there's still something left to fight for.
IMPEACH OBAMA.IMPEACH,JOE BIDEN,IMPEACH ERIC HOLDER oh heck with it IMPEACH THEM ALL
Just a ploy by the SS to get Nugent to pay their hooker bill.
Nugent should rent the SS some hookers. That'll keep them occupied for awhile.
"the president is offensive to Americans. He is a threat to U.S. citizens, why doesnt the fbi investigate him? He is the enemy of the people."
Nah. He is just YOUR enemy. I am perfectly fine with him.
Why is Romney supposed to address Ted's comments? Is Ted part of his campaign team? Is Ted one of his advisors? is Ted a multimillion dollar donor?
If the President had to address every left wing nut jobs comments, he wouldn’t get anything else done!
If the President had to address every left wing nut jobs comments, he wouldn’t get anything else done!
Now there's an idea!
