Cartoons from Muslim countries routinely portray Jews with big noses. Some examples here.
Note that the Muslims in the toon are also portrayed as wearing turbans and having long beards -- which is indeed how many Muslims do present themselves, particularly in Muslim countries
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called on the New York Post to apologize for a political cartoon published in the paper Friday which CAIR says “evokes anti-Semitic themes” through its depiction of hook-nosed terrorists objecting to the NYPD’s surveillance of Muslims without warrant throughout the city.
A post on the group’s Facebook page indicates that the Muslim civil rights groups is asking American Muslims and “other people of conscience to contact the newspaper and to politely ask that they apologize for the offensive cartoon.”

UPDATE: Amusingly, Glenn Greenwald over at Salon says of the cartoon above: "It goes without saying that there is not a single other group against whom bigotry this hateful and overt would be tolerated"

"Greenwald" is an Ashkenazi name so I think we have another self-hating Jew there. I added the following comment to his post: "Could you tell us how often you have condemned Muslims for posting cartoons of Jews with hook noses"

How about muslims and leftists write to the paper and appologise for being offensive instead. That would go a long way to actually becoming civilised. Islam is still rooted in the 7th century and the leftists are striving to join them.
Funny, I don't see anything int he cartoon that suggests these guys are Islamic Jihadists. Perhaps CAIR is just applying their own stereotypes to the individuals in the cartoon....
But people from the Middle East often have very large noses.....
Isn't it funny how radical Muslims can come to this country, which is populated by people they hate and have sworn to destroy by any means, and then make demands as to how we should conduct ourselves? Try doing that in their country.
America's tolerance for it's enemies simply shows those enemies, and the world, just how weak we truly are. And if there's one thing that begets aggression from Muslims, it's weakness. Nevelle Chamberlain would be proud of us.
It's funny how the cartoon is filled with guns, explosives detonators, and other items of terrorism, yet the issue is about their noses?
Someday, when (if, actually) the western world grows up and regains it's attachment to reality, we will finally understand that,
a) we are involed in a religious war with radical Islam whether we want to admit or not.
b) we must either eradicate them, or wait for them to eradicate us. There is no third choice, especially for them.
