Britain's so-called conservatives to enact PC equality law which means ANYONE can sue for ANYTHING that offends them
Thank goodness I don't live in Britain. With my Australian bluntness, I would be in trouble in no time
"Ministers yesterday announced that the vast bulk of Labour’s controversial Equality Act would be implemented immediately, despite concerns about its impact on business and office life.
The legislation, championed by Labour’s deputy leader Harriet Harman, introduces a bewildering range of rights which allow staff to sue for almost any perceived offence they receive in the workplace.
It creates the controversial legal concept of ‘third party harassment’, under which workers will be able to sue over jokes and banter they find offensive – even if the comments are aimed at someone else and they weren’t there at the time the comments were made.
They can sue if they feel the comments ‘violate their dignity’ or create an ‘intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment’.
A one-off incident is enough to sue – there is no need for the ‘victim’ to have warned the perpetrator that their comments are unwelcome. They could even have a case against their employer if a customer or contractor says something they find offensive.

I'm sueing you since I'm offended by your placid attitude.
You didn't inject enough invectives.
The issue of Muslims included in this topic may sound absurd on the surface, but it really isn't. Consider the scenario of the British government getting so completely twisted to the point where it can't effectively govern. The people will inevitably look to an alternative, and one alternative is to move to Sharia Law. The populous just might view it as a "viable alternative" because of an "anything is better than what we currently have" mentality.
Just look at the U.S. election of President Obama, and you should see what I mean. Many people will vote change for change sake, regardless of the consequences of that change.

If I was an employer in England, I would be closing shop at this point. Anyone can choose to be offended at the slightest thing, since being offended is just a choice.
You can bet your boots that the only complainants will be female
although the bill is open to all. Many male and female bosses in the UK will be sacking their staff
and going overseas. When this happens the bill may get repealed.
Both Harriet Harman and Theresa May
were legislators of this act a long time before the election and ,of course we have 2 women at the head of the justice Board telling the judges how they must find. There you are, even british judges have been lobotomised.
This is all about lawyers. There too many of them to start with. Here in America almost all of the lawmakers in washington are lawyers and the laws are written in language that only a lawyer can understand. You don''t think thats an accident do you. We would be better off if we rubed half of them out. Stormewaters
