"Must not criticize Muslims" is what it is really all about:
"Another new guideline, about religious coverage, says that “Any content dealing with matters of religion and likely to cause offence to those with religious views and beliefs must be editorially justified as judged against generally accepted standards and must be referred to a senior editorial figure.”
However Terry Sanderson, the president of the National Secular Society, said: “This is an entirely retrograde step that will put severe restrictions on comedians, documentary makers, satirists and commentators who want to be critical of religion. Almost anything that isn’t wholly reverential towards religious beliefs can be perceived as offensive by some believers.”

islam is the religion of the devil and is worse than a infestation of roaches. every fucking moooslim needs to rounded up and sent back to their shithole countries.
Once again we see the Brits seemingly bending over backwards to cater to the radical muslims who have taken control of Britain. This once-great nation is fast becoming just another Muslim outpost. Can you just hear Hitler saying, "i told you so"!
rule britianstan britianstan rules nothing.
It's interesting that the first thought that comes to mind is, "We must not offend Muslims."
That was my first thought also.
Perhaps that is because there are so few instances of Christians being offended. And even fewer instances of Christians (or Hindus, or Jews, or Buddhists, etc.)threatening to riot or kill when they are offended.
One would hope the government is as concerned about offending religions other than Islam.
A vain hope?
I keep telling everyone....
Islam is NOT a religion.
Islam is a dysfunctional, cultural ideology!
I think that it time that the citizens of the UK revised the BBC charter and advised Parliament of their descision, after all they pay for the service (if it can be called that). Politicains failing to adhere to the guidance of the puplic will be disenfranchised at the next election. If only.
It is time the population rose up and said 'No representation without integration' to the whimps in both houses of government.
