Paypal suspends SIOA, FDI, Atlas Shrugs accounts as "hate speech"

SIOA is Stop Islamization of America and FDI is Freedom Defense Initiative>
"The Left's ongoing strategy is to rule its opposition outside the bounds of acceptable and reasonable political discourse. This is the long-term goal behind all the accusations of "hatred," "bigotry," etc. And so now this from Paypal.

Paypal, in its enlightened Leftism, now apparently deems resistance to an ideology that would extinguish the freedom of speech and the freedom of conscience, as well as equality of rights before the law for women and non-Muslims, to be "hate."

Note also that the openly genocidal jihadists of RevolutionMuslim.com still have their Paypal account. No problem there.

Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs has details here. She suggests sending checks instead! I certainly will make no further use of PayPal. There have been a lot of controversies surrounding PayPal. They are a very arrogant firm and clearly are not going to change any time soon unless forced to. They took on the Australian government at one stage and lost.

GPAL is a better alternative to PayPal.

Originally started in California as GunPal -a 2nd Amendment friendly alternative to PayPal, it has branched out and changed its name to better reflect the scope

If that blog is guilty of anything is of being verbose. Besides, I thought PayPal was like a public accommodation thing, like a restaurant. Can a restaurant ban people based on ideology?

Fucking paypal, I wish I could boycott them but I sell stuff on eBay and my buyers love using paypal.

PayPal, which is owned by Ebay, is one of the most restrictive places on the internet. Their leftist ideology permeates their entire business. If they disagree with what you're doing, they'll stop you dead! Try sending someone a payment where the words "tobacco or cigarette" are included. They shut you down ASAP! As is typical of the Left, it's their way or the highway.

As a 10 year member of Ebay, i can confirm the above statement. Ebay recently issued "a directive" to it's 75+ million members telling them that payment made between buyers and sellers must go through PayPal! No other forms of payment, (m.o.'s, checks, etc.) would be allowed.

As Ebay (and now PayPal) have grown larger and stronger, they've become more oppressive. They realize they're just about the only game in town.

For you folks out there in Mexifornia, where Meg Whittman, the former CEO/co-founder of Ebay is running for US senator, you might want to find out if this was her policy, or did she leave Ebay because of it's sharp swing to the Left.

Paypal and restaurants are private enterprise and can decide whom to do business with or not.
They don't even have to give reasons to refuse you.

Of course if they're refusing you because of your ideology and state so openly you could sue them for libel, even file criminal charges for discrimination.
But we all know that any such charges against someone who refuses your business because you're "Islamophobic" aren't going anywhere in this dhimmy society.
In fact you're probably going to be hit with hate crime charges in return, and thrown in jail/

It seems PayPal realized that their actions revealed their biases too clearly. They have apparently changed their mind.

(What is up with that picture WND chose of Pam Geller? It's scary.)
