Samantha Bee, TBS apologize after profane insult aimed at Ivanka Trump
Comedian Samantha Bee is facing backlash after what she called Ivanka Trump..and now some people are saying she should no longer have a show on TBS
Samantha Bee is apologizing for crossing a line in a Full Frontal immigration segment aimed at Ivanka Trump in Wednesday's episode. "Do something," the TBS host urged, calling the president's daughter and aide a female slur [a “feckless c***”].
"I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night," Bee said in her apology tweet, published Thursday afternoon. "It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it."
Her remarks, and the network's response, came hours after the White House registered its disgust and TBS pulled the clip from YouTube.
Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for first lady Melania Trump, accused the media of bias in quickly canceling Roseanne over its star's racist tweet, directed at former President Obama's aide Valerie Jarrett, but merely apologizing for language directed at President Trump's daughter. "The double standard is truly astounding," Grisham said.

Samantha Bee and other so called leftist comics are apparently not intelligent or literate enough to express themselves without using profanity, obscenity and vulgarity.
Unfortunately, many who follow them share those intellectual characteristics.
Steps of progressive/leftist path to absolution:
1. Make a vile statement about someone. People are now upset.
2. No sooner than one day later make a "mild" apology. The people who were upset from your vile statement mostly forgive you, but now many progressives/leftists are upset with you for apologizing.
3. A few days later, make a statement defending what you originally said. Now those people who were upset with you for apologizing understand you didn't really mean it.
Steps 1 and 2 have been accomplished, now we're just waiting for step 3...
About as sincere as, "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor." Another words, whatever lie defects reality.

We need to stop expecting consistency from the left. They have been conducting a war on women for years, but since they only target Conservative Women, the liberal press don't care. It seems that Conservatives are resilient enough to take the abuse without long-lasting consequences. Only Liberals need rabid "white knighting" to protect their delicate flakes.
