Aldi forced to change paint named 'rape yellow' (after the plant) after complaints from a sex assault victim

Supermarket giant Aldi is set to change the name of its 'rape yellow' paint tins following an angry outburst from a sex assault victim.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, branded the product name 'offensive' after she spotted the tins while she was shopping with her son.
The furious customer said she started 'choking' when she came across the product at the Radford Road store in Coventry, Warwickshire.
Although the online tubs are listed as 'rapeseed yellow' - in reference to the brightly-coloured plant that begins to flower during spring - the in-store tins are plastered with the label 'rape yellow'.
Now Aldi have agreed to scrap the name - but only after explaining it was in reference to the bright-yellow seed.
A statement said: 'This paint is a colour widely referred to in the industry as 'RAL 1021 Rape Yellow', which refers to rapeseed.

Never ever heard of Rape Yellow but i'm sure its not the same rape as what the so called refugees are doing to the women
They should have been aware that the "rapeseed" plant has already been renamed as "Canola" and could have avoided all this by calling it "Canola Yellow".
Or even just dropping the 'e' to make rap-yellow. But this woman who lives in the UK (city dweller of Coventry) was probably too ignorant of agriculture to know that UK and European fields are covered in this yellow rapeseed plant during early summer as it produces a valuable commercial veg oil.
Remember when Crayola used to have INDIAN RED? (i can) in their big box of 64 colors?
More pandering to the terminally ignorant. I presume that when this snowflake reported her rape she couldn't utter the word and resorted to a quick game of charades.
2:32 Why should the manufacturer anticipate and cater for the ignorance of people who don't know that the same word in English may have two or more unrelated meanings depending on context or use (aka synonym)?!
Way back in '66 and '70 when my daughters were born, their pediatrician was Dr. Rape. I suppose he should have changed his name so as not to offend the perpetually offended.

Just to correct myself @3:58 AM - instead of "synonym" I should have typed "homonym" but maybe subconsciously I didn't want to sound homophobic.
