Meryl Streep faces backlash over ‘we’re all Africans’ comment
As well she might. An absurd assertion. I can assure one and all that I am not an African
MERYL Streep is facing a backlash over a controversial remark she made while discussing diversity in the film industry, saying “we’re all Africans really”.
Streep, who heads a festival film jury at the Berlin International Film Festival, was asked by an Egyptian reporter whether she understood films from the Arab world and North Africa, to which she responded: “I’ve played a lot of different people from a lot of different cultures.
“There is a core of humanity that travels right through every culture, and after all we’re all from Africa originally,” she added. “You know, we’re all ... Berliners, we’re all Africans really.”
The remark sparked outrage on social media, with “Meryl Streep” becoming a worldwide trending topic on Twitter.
While some said her remarks were taken out of context, others were upset by the comment.

I guess she was trying to say that since, according to some evolutionist fairly tales, we evolved from Africa, that we are all Africans.
They are not "evolutionist fairy tales". A million or two million years ago, humans were only in Africa, but that does not make us all Africans now. Humanity evolved after moving out of Africa.
Couldn't care less what Meryl Stoop says. Just another standard issue Hollywood dolt. Btw, recent discovery's have disproved the notion that all humanity began in Africa.
And these same bunch of celeberty wanks appearing in that phonie Demand a Plan to push for stricter gun control and even sending a letter to Obama the Fink thanking him for taking excutive action(Excetive Orders)on Gun Control while many of these same celberties make movies full of bloodshed and violence and gun use(Liam Nesson for one)and proving tinsel towns full of hypocrites
Humanity began in the 'Fertile Crescent' between the rivers Euphrates and Tigris. These are not in Africa.
It looks like Bird of Paradise is suffering from a severe case of “Rectal Cranial Inversion”. It’s quite a common affliction you know, only known cure is to accquire a open mind.
This whole idea that all humans came from some dumb fish the became a reptile,them a mammal a monkey a ape and a human is based upon pure speculations and the theory put out by people who are totaly nuts
Even a dumb fish is more intellectually evolved than the leader of the Skuas !

Alpha Skua can't have used a spell-checker, as it's "amoeba" not "ameoba". It's also "An amoeba" not "A ameoba". I guess a pea-brain is smarter than this bird-brain!
