Christian 'love guru' who tells women they must know 'how to shut up' if they want to be dateable sparks outrage
A so-called Christian 'love guru' who tours the country telling teens that women must 'know how to shut up' if they want to get a date and men must 'fight battles' and keep girls 'covered up' has sparked outrage at a Texas high school.
Justin Lookadoo, a bleach-blonde former juvenile probation officer, claims to have given motivational talks at some 4,000 public schools throughout the South and Midwest, preaching in his heavy Texas drawl 'all the juicy secrets' to help students pick up.
But students at Richardson High School in Dallas walked out of his speech Wednesday and others confronted him afterwards, asking questions like: 'Why did you tell girls to get out of abusive relationships instead of telling guys not to be abusive in the first place?'
Others later tweeted their disgust at his misogynistic comments, using the hashtag #lookadouche.
'Honestly the speaker we had today, Justin Lookadoo, disgusted me with his out of line jokes about women,' Anah Delgado tweeted.
Victoria Bryrom tweeted: 'According to Justin Lookadoo I'm undateable because I talk too much.'
Lookadoo offers a snippet of his 'Dateable' program on YouTube in which he declares 'Dateable girls know how to shut up. They don't monopolize the conversation. Let him lead. God made guys as leaders.'

He's right, of course. No-one wants to listen to an unending stream of self-obsession. Both men and women should learn to listen as much as they speak but women do seem to be the big talkers in general. As Solomon said: "Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding." (Prov. 17:28).

Regarding the criticism about "women in abusive relationships," I've heard this line of reasoning before. Apparently, to say a woman is ultimately responsible for her own self-defense makes her a "victim" somehow, and the solution is not to teach women to take care of themselves, but to teach men to respect them.
This is the fantasy world in which liberals seem to live - a place where you CAN tell men to be respectful and properly behaved and they will be. I've seen these same types reduced to tears because they're children won't behave properly after one or (at most) two admonitions not to eat cookies before dinner....
There is a fact about abusive relationships that is normally ignored: Almost all of them are mutually abusive.
Our current day society doesn't like to recognize that fact and therefore spends all sorts of effort to work over only one of the two parties involved instead of taking the pair and working with them together to end the mutually dependent abuse.
That is why women "rescued" from an abusive relationship will go right out and place themselves into a new one.
Shouldn't that be, Justin Whackadoo? And, what is his connection to Christianity, if any?
The whole world knows that women talk much too much, including and especially women. Do you know what the greatest invention for women has been in all of history? No, it's not the personal vibrator. It's the cell phone. Now, because of it, they (never) have to stop talking.
Women never manipulate men causing the man to get angry for being had.
If he had said 'don't monopolise the conversation' instead of 'know how to shut up' there wouldn't have been any problem.
I just love all the women haters here. I wonder if all you guys have calloused right hands.
Yeah, maybe better the hand than the harridan!
When I was dating and reading all the advices, one of the best was to just listen for both men and women (just under 10 years). That was great advice. As for abusive relationships, if you are hit once, that's once too many and just the beginning. Every advice is to get out, man or woman PERIOD.
