Patriotic dress banned from British TV

We read:
"She's not a celebrity usually known for her sense of style. And today Daybreak presenter Kate Garraway made something of a fashion blunder as she decided to show her support for the Royal Wedding by stepping out in a plunging Union Jack maxi dress.

The 43-year-old presenter looked delighted with her patriotic outfit as she arrived at the ITV studios this morning.

However, Daybreak's Entertainment Editor Garraway later tweeted that ITV bosses had ruled the dress was 'too much' for her to wear on air.

I agree, she should take it off ;-)

But in all seriousness, I don't think it's over-the-top. Good for her to show some patriotism!

Yea, I think this was a good call for the T.V. show. It's not going to look good on camera. I think this has more to do with a bad wardrobe choice than political correctness.

Talk about mutton dressed as lamb.

While I agree that it is a bad wardrobe choice it is also a desecration of the Union Jack. That's not patriotic.

That plunging neckline......gag me. If she were 20 years younger, she would have looked fine. Revealing patriotic dresses on women are great, as long as there is something worth revealing.

Anyways, the source article doesn't mention that the dress was banned because of patriotism. I'm on the TV show's side on this one.

"spoken like a true liberal facists"

It is well known that conservatives hate women. How else can you explain conservatives need to dictate what a woman can and cannot do with her body? Conservatives are lower than whale shit on the bottom of the ocean.
