Thoroughly reprehensible speech

The fashion industry has a lot to answer for
A size eight teenage model said being bullied for being too fat on Australia's Next Top Model sent a dangerous message to vulnerable young viewers. Alissandra Moone, 18, who at 57kg [125lb] is considered underweight on the Australian body mass index, was "stunned" when her size became an issue on Foxtel's top-rating show.

Judge Alex Perry has openly criticised Moone's body, likening it to "overstuffed luggage", [I'd like to smash that guy in his insulting mouth and I would be pleased if somebody did] and the clash is set to reach a head on tonight's episode.

"It's a very bad message to be sending to young girls who watch the show," Moone said yesterday. "It's harsh. It's stupid. And it's out of touch. I understand it's a reality of the (modelling) industry but this is a TV show and they should have a responsibility to censor that kind of thing.

The average dress size for most Aussie women is a 12 to 14, while the most recent Mission Australia youth survey showed body image was the most serious concern facing young people between 11 and 24 -- above bullying, drugs and family conflict.

The critique of Moone's size is in stark contrast to Melbourne Spring Fashion Week organisers' decision this year to only use models with a healthy BMI. Models will be vetted by casting agents to ensure they are not too thin before they are signed up.

I know very little about the fashion industry but I understand that homosexuals are prominent in it and I have often heard the comment that they want women to look like boys. The effect however is to disparage normal women so I think what we should all do is to disparage the fashion industry to all who will listen

The insulting mouth above is not homosexual though he gives the impression that he is. He is also known for rough language. I actually applaud rough language under some circumstance but not when it is so cruelly and inaccurately addressed.

It's quite unfortunate that women are so weakminded that they would allow an industry which is owned and controlled by gays, to dictate to them. One reason gays prefer ultra-thin, size-0, female models is because that's how they prefer (invision/wish for) their male lovers to be.

Generally speaking, women are simply paying the price for their own weakness and their inability to think for themselves. In fact, they do the very same thing in politics.

Yeah rite - so if automobile design is predominately by heterosexual males (or perceived to be), we should all place implicit blame on straight guys for undue obsession with cars in the general male population -?

Give me a break with the generalizations and implicit bigotry!!!

"if automobile design…"

There is a clear and distinct difference between designing a mechanical device and pressuring a human being to do unhealthy things to their body.

I have heard car guys say that certain designs (like, say, the AMC Gremlin) is a "crime against nature." However, that's just hyperbole used to express an opinion and does not actually refer to physical or mental harm or actual immorality. (Beyond not being able to unsee the ugly.)

Fashion models are gross. They’re stick thin and sickly looking. The really attractive models, the ones that straight guys usually like, are the swimsuit and underwear (Victoria Secret) models. Most of them are athletic and shapely, not these concentration camp looking skeletons. I think the fashion industry is indeed by homosexuals, for homosexuals. Likely, quite a few of them women hating bullies. I have met more than one homosexual though, who hate and despise the wannabe drag queens of the fashion industry.

Alissandra Moone- You look amazing. Just ignore the insecure, overcompensating bald guy. Go have a burger, I need to talk to this twit...

Alex Perry-You hopeless, pointless, attention whoring son of a bitch! Someone in your business should know the issues the young women in general and wanna-be models in particular have with body image. You should know girls have died following "suggestions" from IRL trolls like you. You should know many groups are starting to move to models with healthy BMIs. But you act as if this data just isn't sinking in. Do us all a favor and go back to dealing frocks to brain dead celebutards you hopeless closet case.
Oh, and feel free to choke to death on a large sausage.

Women want to be boys. Men want to be women. Men want to marry men. Women want to marry women. Men want to be sexually involved with boys. Women want to be sexually involved with little girls. Men want to be sexually involved with little girls. Women want to be sexually involved with little boys.

We spend more time coddling and promoting the exception that we lose sight of the norm. Some day, a man will ask a woman to marry her in secret, and she will have to refuse lest she be considered an outcast for even considering a heterosexual relationship.

Yep - not all gays are in, or interested in, the commercial fashion industry; any more than all str8 guys are obsessed by cars or "macho" things - clearly!
