"Global warming" is out, "climate change" is out. Now it's “global climate disruption"
"John Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, says that the term "global warming" is "a dangerous misnomer” that should be replaced with “global climate disruption."
At the Environmental Protection Agency's 40th celebration of the Clean Air Act on Tuesday, Holdren said, "I think one of the failures of the scientific community was in embracing the term 'global warming'. Global warming is in fact a dangerous misnomer." And in a speech last week in Norway, echoing remarks he made at a 2007 speech at Harvard University, Holdren said the term "global climate disruption" should be used instead of "global warming."

The fact is that they failed to sell it to the public, and now they are just repackaging it to try to sell it again. It's the same old, tired rhetoric.
The bottom line is that governments, oil companies, and auto manufacturers work together to call the shots. There's simply too much money in the mix for it to tip any other way.

Just another example of one of the Left's oldest, and most effective, tactics. If you can't slip it passed the public, simply change the name. Remember how socialized medicine became universal health care, which became Obamacare? Is all the same scam, just with a new face. It also shows how little respect Leftist politicians have for the publics intelligence, assuming the public has any left.

Anon 2:22, that bill was garbage from a bad president, so accurate term calling it Obamacare. Anyways as for this I prefer the phrase "a lie by any other name" because climate change is all garbage.

The public is slowly gathering it's wits after the Obama election onsluaght but were helpless to oppose Obamacare thanks to the Dems in both houses. Absolute majority = absolute rort. This bill provided the smelling salts.
It is time to sweep the entrenched interests out of both houses and clean house once and for all. Ban lobbying except under very tight scrutiny. Ban ALL lobbyist contributions. Put ALL political donations into a pool to be shared by all contenders. Pursue openess and honesty, punish those who lie to gain power. Make every politician accountable to his promise and sack those that don't keep them without justification.
Obama broke every promise that got him the votes of independants and soft conservatives. How much more pain does the US need before it wises up?
