The Leftist dislike of free speech slips out
We read:
"Independent gubernatorial candidate Tim Cahill blasted Gov. Deval Patrick yesterday for appearing to suggest he wished America wasn’t as free so that last week’s Glenn Beck rally at the Lincoln Memorial where Martin Luther King Jr. once spoke would never have happened.
“It’s a free country. I wish it weren’t, but . . . it’s a free country,” Patrick said on the “Jim & Margery Show” on WTKK-FM. “You know, you got to, you got to respect that freedom.”

And who's suprised a pol is not happy that we have the right to say things he doesn't like? Most pols (on either side)would be much happier if those of us that didn't agree with them could be rounded up and shut up.
"Freedom is like cool, clean water, in that it is essential to our way of life. But don't forget what too much water can do."
I'd really love to see how these people would react if THEIR freedoms were taken away. We (in the United States) take SO MUCH for granted, and so many have no problem complaining about what they take for granted. We really need SOMETHING to happen to shake up these pussies.

It's telling of today's society when people are more likely to raise hell about their hamburger missing ketchup than they are about their liberty being infringed upon.
