Labor union hate speech against FAIR

Below is most of a recent press release from SIEU, a labor union mainly for government employees:
"Service Employees International Union (SEIU), America's Voice, Center for New Community, and the Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM) launched a print ad denouncing known hate group, FAIR (the Federation for American Immigration Reform), for poisoning the immigration debate with bigoted, xenophobic hate speech. In support of the ad, SEIU Executive Vice President Eliseo Medina issued the following statement:

"It's time that everyone learns who FAIR's founders, leaders and followers truly are. They are not reformers, but a group of extremists whose leaders are fostering a bigoted, anti-immigrant, anti-American agenda that we must stop."

"We will not allow such a raging extremist group to hide behind this false veil of reform. By continuing to fan the flames of hate and fear, FAIR has contributed to rising levels of hate crimes and discrimination that we are seeing in immigrant communities across the country. There is no place for such fanatical hate speech anywhere in America today-especially not in the halls of Congress."

No referenced facts or rational debate there. Just hate-filled rage. Accusing others of your own faults ("projection") is as old and the hills and SIEU use it to such a degree that you wonder if they have anything else to say. To me they just sound like foaming morons.

FAIR replies here, with facts and logic rather than rage. Judge for yourself if it is "fanatical hate speech".

One of the other main slanderers of FAIR is the SPLC, who claim to teach tolerance. I can't find anywhere on their site where they teach tolerance for Americans who like the law to be enforced, however. It's only some groups especially selected for us by our "betters" that deserve tolerance, apparently.

As I said in a previous post....why do labor unions get to say and support anything they want? Also, if I were in that uniuon I would ralley to throw out the leadership....they appear to be FOR immigration of all kinds, including illegal. Immigrants take jobs....not saying that to be racist or anything, just a fact.

You've got to be kidding me.
Actually political correctness breeds hate and strife. Giving small segment of people permission to step on others.
Laws should be enforced not twisted around to suit the minor group.
Don't get your underwear in a bunch.
I don't like using the word minority, because they're not real minorities. In fact Minorities are becoming non-existent.
Harsh yes
But that's life.

Labour unions had become disarrayed leadership should be toppled, more like thrown off from the top of the building and several competent individuals elected.

(1) The "Center for New Community" is based in Chicago, and is basically an SPLC-like outfit that "serves" the upper Midwest. Because a lot of left-wingers have seen the fund-raising success of Morris Dees, a lot of imitators have popped out of the woodwork in earnest. This is one of them. Nothing more than a fund-raising house of cards.

(2) Ironically, black Service Employees International Union (SEIU) members are losing out because of mass Hispanic immigration, and the cheaper non-union labor they provide in janitorial and service jobs.

(3) While you're reading this, a drunk driving illegal alien has probably killed someone.

The only thing labor unions care about is the ability to somehow get all those illegals to start paying union dues. The very last thing they care about is this country.

I think the word the second anonymous is looking for is FACTION, a small part of the population seeking favorable treatment at the expense of the rest of the country. So we have "political correctness" aiding the black FACTION, the Hispanic FACTION, the homosexual FACTION, the anti-male (a.k.a. "feminist") FACTION, the Muslim FACTION, the anti-human (a.k.a. "environmentalist") FACTION, and I'm sure we could name several other factions, all at the expense of the entire U.S. citizenry. George Washington specifically warned about forming factions in his farewell address. This country would do well to remember his words and start heeding them.

With all of the work in front of us in controlling illegal immigration why should we spend our time defending a group like FAIR. FAIR needs to clean up its own house. Until they do they are simply an unneeded anchor for those of us really concerned about enforcement. People dismiss our concerns because of FAIR.

Simply if FAIR was more responsible in its relationships these unions would not be able to attack us.

Last I checked . . . unions are not the government. So the free speech argument doesn't really apply here. I checked out these so-called civil rights groups claims and it appears that they are right on target with FAIR.

Shame on us for associating with them.
