Man considers legal action against Starbucks following claims of racism in store
A Philadelphia man is considering legal action against Starbucks after an employee labelled his drink order “ISIS” instead of his Islamic name.
Niquel Johnson, 40, told the Washington Post he had used his Islamic name, Aziz, “countless” times before, but this time the three drinks he ordered came back with “ISIS” — the acronym for the Islamic State terror group — printed on the receipt.
“I was shocked and angry,” Mr Johnson told the Washington Poston Friday. “I felt it was discrimination.”
In a statement to the Post, Starbucks spokesman Reggie Borges said: “After investigating, we don’t believe this was a case of discrimination or profiling.
“The customer approached and provided the name Aziz. The barista mistakenly spelled it incorrectly. We have connected with Mr. Johnson and apologised for this regrettable mistake.”
Mr Johnson, who was wearing Islamic dress, didn’t notice what the cashier had printed on the cups until after he had left the store.

It is easy to misunderstand something like that.
The trouble today is people think we need to settle all problems in the courts and with litigation instead of just getting down and talking it over
That Art History Degree didn't teach spelling.
