Must not call nationalized healthcare nationalized healthcare
We read:
"As the Watchdog Politics Examiner, Martha Gore recently wrote a report on the President’s proposed nationalized healthcare plan, which she captioned, ‘Obama nationalized health care plans debated.’
Something called Media Matters.org took utmost umbrage with Ms. Gore for having the audacity to refer to their Hero and Savior St. Obama’s plans for nationalized healthcare as nationalized healthcare and threw what is known in Texas as a hissy fit.
Their sensitivities were apparently piqued because the Christian Science Monitor, from which Ms. Gore quoted, never used the phrase ‘nationalized healthcare,’ nor did Sir Obama himself, nor did anyone else, nor is it ever politically correct to call nationalized healthcare nationalized healthcare in any case. Ms. Gore was therefore branded with ‘false reporting.’”

So now, even the PC'ized term for socialized medicine, (universal healthcare) is out? Now it's nationalized healthcare?
This is so typical of the Left, to keep re-naming one of their favorite scams until the public swallows it without gaging. No matter what it's called, it's still socialized medicine, a system that has failed wherever it's tried. But since when has obvious failure ever stopped a leftist program from being forced down the throats of the people.
The American people are fast becoming the international standard for stupidity and weakness.
Come 0n, it isn't National Health. This is far grander, Obama is doing Universal Healthcare. Martians get to use the system too, not just earthlings!
Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...
To quote the president himself, "..words, just words...".
Wake me up when this insanity ends, please.
Sadly Brian, the results of what this half-breed in the WH is doing will out live you. The damage he's causing will take generations to fix, if ever.
Call it what you will and like it or not, Americans should really think about the one important detail about this matter: why do you pay so much for health care and is it worth it?
Your system is so overwhelmingly more expensive that it's not even funny. I mean you pay pretty much the double or more to most other OECD countries. Do you get twice as good service for all that money? I doubt it.
I'm not in favor of socialized medicine either but to me it's obvious that the American system is not the one we should aim for.
Is it worth it in the U.S.? Yes!
If my Doc says I need a diagnostic MRI immediately. I can get one within 24hrs. In most OECD countries, fast is three weeks to two years.
The U.S. system is designed to serve the client, not the government. But client needs to read the fine print before buying.
It's not "Socialized Medicine", "Universal Healthcare" or "National Healthcare". The proper term we all ought to be using is "Rationed Healthcare" as the plans of some administration officials have already hinted.

Why do so many foreigners come to the US for their important medical needs? What makes the US healthcare system "seem" like a failure is the fact that so many illegal foreigners come here and abuse it, (at the expense of US tax payers) and our leftist government allows it to continue.
If you think the costs are high now... just wait.
Here's a hint. Universal Healthcare is not free and it's hardly universal. It's been proven not to work, so why aren't we searching for a different solution?
The problem is the cost. The answer is not to give it to everyone as that does nothing for the cost and even less for quality.
Do something to drop costs and keep quality...like increased competition maybe? Yes, I know it's capitalism, something this administration is clueless about.

And you can't call a spade a spade..cards and shovels.
Useless dirtbrains anyway.
Media Matter is a George Soros founded and indirectly funded media watchdog (pitbull) against anything to the right of Hugo Chavez.
