You Couldn't Make this Stuff up

The latest from the Unhinged Kingdom:

"Staff in charge of young offenders have been banned from calling them 'prisoners' and ordered to refer to them as 'Mr'.

Warders have been told that under a new Home Office policy they are also not allowed to refer to having to 'feed' the offenders, but must instead 'serve them meals'.

Outrageous

Thanking Jesus in Court Lands Hawaiian Man in Jail:

"Junior Stowers raised his hands and exclaimed, "Thank you, Jesus!" in court last month when he was acquitted by a jury of abusing his son.

But his joy was short-lived when Circuit Judge Patrick Border held him in contempt of court for the "outburst" and threw him in jail."

He was only in jail for that day but the idea that expressing thankfulness to God can be contemptuous is itself contemptible -- and contemptuous of the First Amendment.
