Erica Mena will ‘not appear’ on next season of ‘Love & Hip Hop’ after calling co-star a monkey

Erica Mena will “not appear” on the next season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” after she called her co-star Spice a “monkey” during a heated argument.

“The ‘Love & Hip Hop’ franchise has never shied away from hard conversations in our community,” the VH1 series wrote in an Instagram statement Saturday. “Working hand-in-hand with our partners, viewers will see the impact of Erica Mena’s remarks play out in the final three episodes of the season.

“Effective immediately, she will not appear in the next season of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,'” the announcement concluded.

Page Six has reached out to Mena’s reps and the network for comment but did not immediately hear back.

The video vixen got into a heated confrontation with her co-star Spice on Tuesday’s episode. The musician told Mena that her oldest son “hates” her.

In response, the actress flipped the table and yelled, “You monkey, you f–king blue monkey!”

Fans called for Mean to be fired from the show over the racial slur.
