Soon liberals well be demanding all war memorials be replaced with the 70's chicken footprint in a circle peace logo or the cabadian memorial to vietnam era Draft Dodgers or statues of our Founding Fathers be taken down and replaced with statues of snowflakes that fact that a few years ago the former athetic director at Umass demanded the Minuteman statue be replaced with that of a a wolf
ReplyDeleteIt's clearly wrong that any one generation in the whole sweep of history should decide what monuments and relics to keep from all previous generations, thereby denying them to all future generations. Of course this often happens and not just in this particular era - hence "history is written by the victors" - whether political or religious. So that now we have fake and distorted "history" or especially absent or incomplete history.
