Apparently the St.Andrew's Cross (X) in the Confederate flag was derived from the St.Andrew's Cross in the Scottish national flag (due to earlier Scottish immigration in the Southern colonies)- that Scottish flag being now part of the UK flag (as featured on this guitar).
I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry that they can't identify the battle flag of North Virginia. The Confederate Flag has no cross on it at all. Okay...I'll admit it...laughter won.
Pity they're never offended by the crappy "music" played on some guitars these days.
