Reclaim Our Culture Kentuckiana (ROCK) says it first applied for [the] specialty license plate in 2007. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet creates specialty plates to spotlight various non-profit organizations. Motorists can purchase the plates in the process and may choose to make an additional donation to the non-profit in question.”

ReplyDelete...as do many other states. But while it may seem like a clear-cut situation, don't forget that States' rights do need to be factored in the decision--it's part of the design of the U.S. legal system.

If that phrase did not appear on our currency the state might have some chance of winning. But since it does, they do not.
ReplyDeletePersonally, i believe state license plates should contain the name of the state, expiration date, and registration number. And "nothing" else!
