Kissing babies has long been a political tradition. The father of the child may be the guy in the lower right hand corner of the image who appears to be smiling.
I would be more concerned if Obama or anyone had said "I am not going to hold your kid because he is white/black/asian/hispanic/martian or whatever."
THAT would be racist to me.
This picture? Sorry, but this picture is much ado about nothing.
