ReplyDeleteAs usual the proponents of abortion have no reasonable reply to logic so they wander off into fantasy.
ReplyDeleteTo prevent dangerous and/or late illegal abortions by unqualified persons, the law in many countries has made "safe" legal abortions available for either pregnancies under an agreed few weeks before the embryo has developed "too far" and/or in cases where the mother's life or well-being was in danger if the pregnancy continued (and always remembering that Nature herself aborts fetuses very regularly).
ReplyDeleteThe morality of interfering with a pregnancy by artificial abortion will always be contentious, but must be the less so the earlier it takes place, and to be dogmatically against it for any reason, especially when it might only involve a few unfeeling cells, or disregarding all other medical or social outcomes, is pig-headedly opting for a potentially greater evil in favor of a lesser one.
Not the cutest baby pic to use for promoting the abolition of abortion - looks like the Devil's spawn. Of course legal abortions never remove such developed fetuses, as that one is obviously a full-term baby!
